Sixteen-year-old Chris Chike of Rochester set the record Tuesday for highest single-song score on the popular video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.His 97 per cent completion rate on the game's most difficult song, the seven-minute "Through Fire and Flames," earned more than 840,000 points, almost double the old record.Guinness World Records judge Doug Parsons said in a news release that Chike's accomplishments were "nothing short of amazing."Chike tells the Post-Bulletin of Rochester that he used to play the game four to five hours a day, but now plays much less because the game has lost its challenge.Chike set the record at a New York City event marking the launch of Guinness World Records: Gamers Edition.He's a junior at Century High School in Rochester. ...
