T-House Complimentary Breakfast Meal
2008-01-22 22:47:00
The next day we had our fabulous breakfast. The restaurant was unoccupied, which was nice because we got to settle in before the rush. The waiter handed the menus to us, and we were then offered with buffet assortment of breads laid on the baskets with choices of herbed and garlic butter. And there was also a good platter of sliced fresh fruits such as papaya, mango and pineapple.
We both

T-HOUSE: FOUR-COURSE DINNER
2008-01-20 22:55:00
From the moment we walked-in, we felt like we were in a classic jazz bar. There were an in-house pianist and a flutist playing with undeniable light jazz feel serenading the guests.
The ambiance was very intimate and romantic without being too stuffy. But sometimes we couldn't avoid good eavesdropping on private conversations at this cute tiny restaurant. We were given a complimentary bread

T HOUSE TAGAYTAY
2008-01-18 17:25:00
I chose T-HOUSE for my husband's post-birthday celebration after seeing rave reviews on other forums. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink. After checking in, one of the staff led us to our Luxe Garden Suite (Earth), Php 6,325.00 per night. Our room had air-conditioned with hot and cold shower, 24" flat screen cable TV and WIFI access. Ameneties such as shampoo

JOSEPHINE RESTAURANT
2008-01-17 17:07:00
Hubby and I arrived quite late in Tagaytay City, it was around 2:00 pm. Since we were very hungry already, we proceeded directly to Josephine Restaurant.
We have been here several times and we always have a great lunch. I really like this place, which definitely lives up to its name by offering the tradition of serving the finest Philippine cuisine and fresh seafood the way Lolas (Grandma) used

TAGAYTAY CITY
2008-01-15 17:08:00
The next day, hubby and I went to Tagaytay City for a weekend getaway. I had made our reservations through e-mail a week prior to our trip at T-HOUSE. Originally, our first choice was Boutique Bed and Breakfast but it was already fully booked at that time.
Tagaytay is an hour and 45 minutes by car from Metro Manila via South Luzon Tollway or through the Coastal Road. There are buses ply to

2008-01-09 03:03:00
After we had our lunch at Gumbo Restaurant, the five of us proceeded to the 3,241-square meter SM Science Discovery Center which opened in October 19, 2007, the first of its kind in the Philippines, designed by US-based Leisure Entertainment Consultancy (LEC).
We were thrilled about this place since it's our first time to visit here. Hubby lined up and purchased our entrance tickets (P330.00/

GUMBO RESTAURANT
2008-01-06 23:39:00
More than a month ago, we celebrated hubby's birthday at Gumbo Restaurant in SM Mall of Asia. We came in on a Sunday lunch and waited for 5 minutes before we had our seat. When we entered the room, the first thing that caught my attention was some staff wearing different colorful facemasks and hats in Mardi Gras style. We were led and seated in the middle of the indoor dining room. (If you have

TAOIST TEMPLE CEBU
2008-01-03 22:38:00
We also visited Taoist Temple, located in the wealthy residential suburb of Beverly Hills about 6 km. north of downtown Cebu.
We took a local taxi to get there and we asked the driver to wait for us for a few minutes because we knew we could hardly find a cab to get back to the hotel. There were only few people when we got there, maybe because many of the Taoist devotees have their rituals

We Are Back!
2007-12-29 17:00:00
We've just returned back from "on-our-own" nine-day trip to Xiamen and Guangzhou, China. The only downfall of our trip was returning home, when we had to go through the excruciatingly long lines at the NAIA Immigration counter. It was already late at night and the entire area was like ovens jam-packed with people. aaargh...
While going out from the airport, an officer was looking at us and I

FORT SAN PEDRO
2007-12-19 23:27:00
Fort San Pedro stands at the very heart of Cebu City and there is nothing really much to do and to see here. However, if you're interested a little more facts about Cebu history, it can be a good place to begin your visit.

As described in an official report of 1739, Fort San Pedro is triangular in shape and made of stone and

MAGELLAN'S CROSS
2007-12-17 17:50:00
Some say that... "the Magellan's Cross may not be a sight to behold. But it's significance is more than meets the eye. For the Cebuanos, it is the beginning of something big -- Christianity. "
The Magellan's Cross was planted in April 14, 1521 by Ferdinand Magellan, this marks the spot where Fr. Pedro Valderama baptized the first Christian Filipinos, Rajah Humabon and Queen Juana and about 400

POD 5 KTV Bar and Restaurant
2007-12-15 17:15:00
Aside from dining those feted eating places, we also had a great time when we visited POD 5 KTV Bar and Restaurant located at Banilad Town Center. It was another way for us to enjoy and having fun while we were in Cebu.
The interior decoration was contemporary and the ambiance was pretty nice. It had a futuristic theme with plenty of white shades and round angles.
The room that we had was
