R Rated Superbad clip finds it’s way onto YouTube
2007-08-07 05:10:19
SuperBad has been hailed the best teen comedy since American Pie and it’s clearly worth that title and a must see this summer! A new R-Rated clip from the film has ‘leaked’ onto YouTube. The clip features a part of the film where Jonah Hill tells the story of his childhood phallic drawing problem. The risqué clip has been on YouTube for five days now, so Sony and the MPAA obviously don’t have a problem with it being on there. You can view the clip below. Make sure to see SuperBad when it hits cinemas on August 17th Source Written by Lucy for Product ReviewsIn Sections: News, Film News ...

Solar Powered Mouse, Sole Mio, Being Tested
2007-08-07 04:23:07
With the world said to end in a few decades time thanks to our friendly friend, Mr Global Warming, manufacturers are spending their last days on earth creating computer peripherals that use renewable energy. With the mouse being the most power consuming computer peripheral, this could be a large step forward indeed. One of the drawbacks of this solar powered mouse however, is that it requires real sunlight, so it does need to be placed next to a window (preferably not overnight) to charge up. Having said this, all in all it does seem like a good idea, after all this could bring forth many different peripherals that don’t use non-renewable energy sources. Good work! What do you think of the Sole Mio? Would you buy one? Written by Ryan for Product ReviewsIn Sections: Input Devices ...

Mazda Demio Sales Take Off in Japan: Known overseas as the Mazda2
2007-08-07 04:10:16
It seems as if the all-new Mazda Demio otherwise known as the all-new Mazda2 overseas are seeing great results in sales. Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that total orders for this small hatchback have reached 15,000 units in only its first month of sales. This is great news for Mazda as this is triple the target that they estimated. It seems that the Japanese market love the stylish exterior and the competitive cost and fuel efficiency of the Demio. If you take a closer look at the sales figures of the Mazda Demio or Mazda2, you will see that the 1.3-liter 13C core grade together with the 13C-V grade have at least 60 percent of the sales. It seems that more and more drivers are thinking of the environment as the Demio achieves 10-15 mode fuel economy of 23 km/L. maybe it is a good sign that the Japanese wants to embrace greener vehicles. Wikipedia Founder, Jimmy Wales, Refuses To Comprimise Like Google, Yahoo
2007-08-07 03:53:53
The creator of the well-known open-source encylcopedia, Wikipedia, has recently exclaimed that he will not remove some search results for China, even though China have completely blocked Wikipedia from their servers. This seems like one step forward and two steps back if you ask me, as China are currently the second largest group of web users in the world, roughly 110 million, second only to the United States. Google were once in a similar situation and comprimised accuracy in their search results so that they could be part of China’s society, which was a good move in my opinion. “While removing search results is inconsistent with Google’s mission, providing no information (or a heavily degraded user experience that amounts to no information) is more inconsistent with our mission” said Google. What do you think? Smooth move? Or arrogant mistake? Source Written by Ryan for Product ReviewsIn Sections: Computers ...

2007-08-07 03:51:40
A US federal judge has said that Microsoft do not have to pay $1.53 billion to Alcatel-Lucent for infringement of two of the latter firms MP3 patents. When we all heard about the original ruling it put shockwaves thought the world of digital music back in March. Rudi M. Brewster who is the judge has said that Microsoft did not infringe one of the patents after all and legitimately paid a different company, Fraunhofer for the other. The case will not be over for a while because Alcatel-Lucent plans to appeal against the new ruling (we guessed they would). Should we really care about this?
