He was ranked 55th in the world and was completely self-funded and the sole applicant to represent Blighty. After all his effort to get there, his weight, lack of financial support, long-sightedness and fear of heights affected his medal changes and he finished last. His good spirits and can-do attitude won him fans the world over, which led to a very brief pop career and now, this biopic. Super producer John Heyman (A Passage to India) and father of Harry Potter producers David has always wanted to make an Edwards film and has finally got round to it with Steve Coogan starring. 2007-08-08 03:45:02
Ken Livingstone, the Mayor of London, UK is again revising the London congestion charge that drivers have to pay to enter central London. At the moment drivers have to pay £8 per day, but Livingstone wants to introduce a sliding scale which would be based on the carbon dioxide emissions of each vehicle, much like the road fund license. Vehicles that are in let’s say band G will have to pay £25 per day; these are vehicles that produce over 225g/km of CO2. Vehicles like the ForTwo diesel will be free of charge. Some would say that this is an unreasonable way of charging. Dou you think the congestion charge should go by CO2 levels, or should they charge less for how many people are in the vehicle? Spy Shots of the BMW X4: CUV to debut in 2010
2007-08-08 02:50:11
It seems that BMW have been testing a new SUV crossover, although not the car itself the picture above shows a test mule for the new BMW X4 which should debut sometime in 2010. This SUV will fit in nicely between the X3 and X5. These early images show that it looks like a 330i Touring that has been to the gym. The X4 is expected to share the same running gear as the smaller X3, so as the X3 debuts in 2010 it is thought that the X5 will debut at the same time. The strange thing is that both the X3 and X5 are very similar in size, so why the need for the X4. Maybe this new model will be just the right size for people.
