Madden NFL 08 Xbox 360 game online lags & has no Live opponent feature 2007-08-10 06:11:50 Seems like Madden NFL 08 Xbox 360 Online game is pretty bad according to SportsGamer, apparently the game lags plus does not have Live opponent feature and a few other set backs makes the whole online gaming experience kind of crap. Someone called Fred over at SportsGamer posted his impressions. He goes on to say that the game was laggy and that there are no alternate jerseys online or variable weather plus there is no way to use custom rosters or created stadiums online have been found. Oh well it that it (oh no) he carries on to say that there is not enough time to choose plays on defense as it only gives you 7 seconds like with NCAA and the all new play call screen make it so much worse. Their services like mail, the news, your calendar events and all the other things the Google world provides us with is not encrypted at all, meaning anyone can get their hands on what you’re doing and use it to their liking. “Google, like any other legitimate service provider, encrypts login traffic, but not your content. YouTube Helps Catch Laptop Thief 2007-08-10 06:02:14 YouTube, the internet’s largest video sharing website has recently played a major role in helping catch a laptop theif. Now I don’t know about how a criminal’s mind works or anything too deep like that, but if you’re going to record yourself stealing a laptop from a store, why upload it onto YouTube for over 500,000 hits? What makes the situation even funnier is that the whole video was synced with the Pink Panther theme tune, for added effect. After 500,000 hits, the video did indeed get watched by someone who recognised 50-year-old Dawson Anthony Bliss (thief) and ended him up in a fine costing over $3000, thanks to the police. Should Microsoft Office Be Scared of Apple iWork? 2007-08-10 05:38:33 With Microsoft office dominating the market ever since word processing came out the cave, Steve Jobs created iWork which is a mirror of Office, created for the iMac. It’s no surprise either, seeing as Microsoft Office for the Apple is the best selling third-party software for the iMacs. iWork contains all the same concepts of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel but as with all things Apple, is incredibly easier to use. It also looks a tonne better than any office programs on a PC. Selling for $79, will it be popular? If you ask me, at the end of the day, no matter how much more beautiful or easy to use or convenient the new software is, you will never see PC users buying iWork. Why? A man called CheapyD presents his live video of how to bring back your Xbox 360 back to life. Basically if the Xbox 360 on and off power switch blinks red he has a way to fix the problem temporarily. Silicon Knights file lawsuit but Epic Games files a countersuit 2007-08-10 04:41:24 Silicon knights have recently filed a lawsuit against giants Epic Games but it has been announced that Epic Games have filed a countersuit against Silicon knights saying that they have in fact misappropriated Epic’s technology and won’t pay. Mark Rein from Epic games claims that Epic has done nothing wrong and Silicon Knights is Stealing. Epic are now seeking injunctive relief, destruction of infringing goods, compensatory and punitive damages, including infringing computer code plus attorney’s fees and costs.
