Update on Ronald Tridico crashing his Lamborghini Murcielago 2007-08-14 04:46:33 When I first wrote the story about Ronald Tridico a Windermere resident crashes his $400,000 Lamborghini, I did not have the information as to what model of Lamborghini it was, and I can now tell you that it was a Lamborghini Murcielago. I am still in shock as to the demise of such a beautiful car, but as with all things with power, they have to be treated with some respect or they will bite you. Ronald Tridico, found this out while he was speeding around a curve along state Road 429, near Orlando. It seems as if Tridico was trying to find the limits of his car, he did find that limit which is why his Lamborghini Murcielago decided to make a trip over the pavement and on to a grassy roadside. The image above shows you the extent of the damage. Ronald Tridico has since been arrested and has been charged with suspicion of DUI, and also with leaving an accident scene. Peter Jackson and Sam Raimi team up for The Hobbit? 2007-08-14 04:22:39 It was rumoured last week that Sam Raimi was offered the Clash of the Titans remake, therefore making us all wonder whether this meant he wasn’t going to make The Hobbit for New Line. New Line are eager to move ahead with the Hobbit so they have quietly been trying to mend fences with Lord of the Rings filmmaker Peter Jackson who has sued the company over his share of profits from the first Rings movie. Chinese automakers Chery Auto to set up in Iran 2007-08-14 04:08:29 It seems as if Chinese automakers Chery Auto, are aiming to become the biggest company in vehicle growth. We already know that they have invested money in other countries such as, Brazil, Egypt, and the Ukraine, and now the latest country that Chery are to set up in is Iran. Chery Auto is to invest $370 million for their new plant in Babol, Iran. China’s largest automaker Chery, is teaming up with Khodro, Iran’s biggest automaker, as well as Solitac, a Canadian investment firm. Together these three companies will start production of the S21; these cars will arrive from China as knock down kits. If the S21 sedan is a success in Iran and other neighboring countries, it is hoped that more models will follow. The movie follows an advice columnist/relationship expert who somehow struggles to succeed as a brother, con and a single parent. The film is directed by Peter Hedges (Pieces of April) and also stars Juliette Binoche, Dane Cook, John Mahoney, Emily Blunt and Dianne Wiest.
