2007-08-14 11:48:35
Following on from the story I did the other day on “EA Madden NFL 08 Graphics Video for Sony PS3 and Xbox 360 (Link) it seems I have been a naughty boy and not even mentioned the poor old Sony PS2 or come to think of it the Nintendo Wii (sorry). So what I want to know and of which will tell us what platform this game will be played on the most is a little question for you.
What platform will you buy Madden NFL 08 for? Will it be the Sony PS3, Nintendo Wii, Sony PS2 or Microsoft Xbox 360?

2007-08-14 11:20:36
The Illinois based hedge fund management group, Sentinel Management Group, has asked regulators for permission to stop investors withdrawing funds from some Sentinel Management Group investment funds.
Sentinel Management Group have contacted the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and called for withdrawals to be frozen until Sentinel Management Group “can honor them in an orderly fashion”.
“Investor fear has overtaken reason and has induced a period in which most securities have simply ceased to trade,” according to the client letter, which does not specify which funds are affected.”
“We are concerned that we cannot meet any significant redemption requests without selling securities at deep discounts to their fair value and therefore causing unnecessary losses to our clients.”
Market analyst Sam Kirtley of The Gold Prices Newsletter said: “This shows how much fear is in the market at present. When investors get scared, they seek a safe haven and the best safe ...

Live-Action Jungle Book Movie Planned
2007-08-14 11:20:00
In my eyes, there has only every been one version of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book that really mattered and that was the Disney version. It featured bear that wanted to be like you (oo-hoo) and some seriously cool apes dancing.
There was a live-action version made in 1942 by Zoltan Korda and another in 1994 starring John Cleese, Jason Flemyng and Sam Neill but nothing can compare, not even Sam Neill’s moustache in the 94 version.
Now, there is a new version of The Jungle Book being made, which will feature animals that are both live-action and gobby - we love it! The $50 million film co-production between pathe and the BBC will be directed by John Downer, from a script by Richard Kurti and Bev Doyle.
As usual, more to come when we get it!

2007-08-14 11:00:16
The Mattel toy recall involves the recall of 436,000 toys due to high lead levels and another 18.2 million recalls because of dangerous magnet toys.
Lead is poisonous to humans and so that is why the Mattel toy recall had to take place.
Regarding the Mattel toy recall the company said:
“The safety of children is our primary concern, and we are deeply apologetic to everyone affected,” Robert Eckert, chairman and chief executive officer of Mattel, said in a statement. “We don’t want to have recalls, but we don’t hesitate to take quick and effective action to correct issues as soon as we’ve identified them to ensure the safety of our products and the safety of children.”
This is the second Mattel toy recall recently, after Mattel recalled a million toys due to concerns over high lead levels earlier this summer.
What do you think of the Mattel Toy Recall?
This Mattel Toy Recall has no doubt damaged the reputation of the company, can you trust Mattel anymore?

Ice Cube to star in Comic Book Adaptation of 10
2007-08-14 10:51:25
Ice Cube, star of Are We There Yet? And Are We Done Yet? is on the verge of signing on for a comic book adaptation. Now, unless you’re a fan of Ice Cube, you won’t be jumping for joy.
Credit where credit’s due, he was the best thing in both films and he was good in xXx2: State of the Union, so he is worth the gamble. He is set to star in 10, based on the graphic novel by Shannon Eric Denton and Keith Giffen.
In the film, Ice Cube’s hero gets a piece of junk mail one day informing him that he is in a competition with nine other people. Whoever comes out alive, wins. Nice! Naturally, he files the mail under “Unlikely/Nigerian spam” in the big round riling cabinet and goes about his daily business - until one day an axe-wielding stranger turns up at his door in an attempt to kill him.
Ice Cube’s company is negotiating to produce with an eye to him taking a starring role. Charlie Bartlett’s screenwriter Gustin Nash (I kid you not!) is adapting the script with Jesse Cale.

Higher Energy Costs Increased Producer Prices By 6pct in July
2007-08-14 10:37:37
A leap in energy prices have caused producer prices to increase more than many had expected.
Producer prices continued to rise even though food prices fell and the producer price index fell 0.2 percent in May.
Gasoline costs increased 3.2% last month having fallen 3.9% last months.
Energy analyst Sam Kirtley of The Uranium Stocks Newsletter thinks this is another reason why the world needs to go nuclear; “Small as this example may seem, energy prices affect every area of the economy. Fossil fuels are unstable and energy price swings can be avoiding by going nuclear as nuclear power has stable costs.”
Nigel Gault, an economist with Global Insight said: “Over all, today’s P.P.I. report was benign,”
“That means that the Fed will have room to cut interest rates should the economy stumble due to the fall-out from the financial market turmoil.”
Do you think that energy prices will continue to increase?

Duct Tape Bandit Kasey Kazee robs Shamrock Liquors store
2007-08-14 09:59:55
Some crazy man has been accused of robbing a liquor store called Shamrock Liquors, ok so we have heard of men robbing stores all over the world, but have you come across one that has covered his face in duct tape (I think not). The man was accused of robbing the store which is in Kentucky but to disguise his face and identity used duct tape.
The employees of Shamrock Liquors in Ashland, Kentucky apparently laughed when the duct tape bandit entered the store and demanded money. After the robbery took place the manager and an employee tackled the bandit in a parking lot that was nearby and held him there till police arrived, the Duct Tape Bandit is known as Kasey Kazee, of course he denies robbing the store even thought the police took photos which clearly shows him wrapped up in duct tape and then there were photos of his face without the tape.
Kazee said “Look at me,” “Do I look like the duct-tape bandit, baby? I’m not no duct-tape bandit. (Yeah right).

We seein the video clear as light the word Infamous Sedition “Banned form the forums” and then there is Guilty “Responsible for countless nerfs”
Whilst sitting here what you really do notice is the character running around gaining more hits and tricks (pretty cool).
If you know more about Incredible Warrior Tricks 2: World of Warcraft then please do let us know in the comments area below.

2007-08-14 06:16:15
Karl Rove has announced his resignation from the White House and the Bush administration.
However will Karl Rove be missed?
Karl Rove is known as “the brains” behind George Bush, so with him gone…
…Does this mean George Bush now has no brains?
If not who will replace Karl Rove as the brains behind Bush?
We will rule out the possibility that George Bush could get his own brains or use his own brains.
Bush needs someone new behind the scenes like Karl Rove the help him maintain his popularity and position as President.
What do you think?

Meet Joe Black on HD DVD: Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt
2007-08-14 06:10:44
Meet Joe Black on HD-DVD is the high definition 1998 remake of Death Takes a Holiday which was released in 1934. It had previously been released in 1971 under the original title. Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins star in the movie which surprisingly was a Box Office Bomb and took in only half of it’s $90 million budget. It still remains, to this day, the most expensive film made that does not have extensive special effects.
The film has been released on HD DVD which is brilliant news to everyone who was a fan of the movie. It’s is one of the must have’s for your HD DVD collection.
On the DVD, picture quality, as expected, is phenomenal but the voices could do with having a little higher volume. Overall, the sound is sharp and responsive and makes you feel like you are actually in the movie.
The amazing acting from Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins feels very real in this HD DVD release and you can see every tear, every blink of an eye, every smile, as clear as crystal.
