Jose Offerman of Long Island Ducks suspended for fighting with Bridgeport Bluefish Pitcher 2007-08-15 14:22:55 Following on from our story this morning about Jose Offerman Arrested on Assault Charge, we can now give you an update that Jose Offerman, from the baseball team Long Island Ducks, has now been suspended and charged with assault for fighting with John Nathans from Bridgeport Bluefish. Fferman has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault, as catcher Nathans sustained concussion, as well as a broken finger. Frank Boulton, the owner of the Ducks has said that whatever decision that the league’s chief executive, the team will abide by it. A decision will be made this Friday. He is also a frequent guest on The Howard Stern Show and a co-host of Miserable Men on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Howard 101 with the Reverend Bob Levy and Shuli. Tropical Storm Erin forecast to hit the south Texas coast tomorrow 2007-08-15 13:24:27 Tropical storm Erin has now formed over the Gulf of Mexico, and it is expected that the storm could hits the South Texas Coast by tomorrow, not only that but yet another storm is gaining strength in the Atlantic Ocean and seems as if it is heading straight towards the Caribbean. It seems as if we are being bombarded by hurricanes at the moment, but then again some of the most dangerous storms seem to form after August 15th. Erin reached the strength of a tropical storm sometime about mid-morning; it was created about 402 kilometers east of Brownsville, Texas. The storm is only moving at about 19 kilometers an hour, the system also has sustained wind speeds of 64.37 per hour. Tropical Storm Erin will hit land sometime tomorrow just south of Corpus Christi, Texas, where it is expected to drop at least 8-inches of rain. Owen Wilson in The Darjeeling Limited: London Film Festivals closing gala 2007-08-15 12:29:41 It’s been known for a while that this year’s 51st London Film Festival will open with David Cronenberg’s Eastern Promises. Now, the closing gala has been announced as well and it’s the much-anticipated Wes Anderson’s move, The Darjeeling Limited. The movie stars Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman as three brothers who travel to India in an attempt to rediscover their family bond, only to find events veering off-course and themselves stranded in the middle of a desert with “eleven suitcases, a printer and a laminating machine”. The wikipedia scanner works by tracking the editors IP address and this could really help with stopping the people who are ruining wikipedia. I am sure you all know what I am talking about. The wikipedia scanner can stop those people who post spam or delete entire sections on articles on wikipedia. I would think wikipedia has its own wikipedia scanner but this tool could be used by other people such as if someone edited a biography of a famous person, the wikipedia scanner could be used to track them or if some messed with a company profile then wikipedia scanner could trace that person’s IP address.
