So You Think You Can Dance 2007 Winner: Sabra Johnson, Did She Deserve It? 2007-08-16 22:26:08 I warn you, this article is a 100% spoiler for those who didn’t watch the finale and don’t want to know anything just yet. But for those of you that do, you’re at the right place. The winner of the 2007, So You Think You Can Dance was Sabra Johnson as the title says, which personally, I think was well deserved. Not so surprisingly, a record breaking 16 million votes had been counted, which is an astonishing amount of votes. I sure would hate to be tallying those votes. The final two people at the end of the show, were Sabra Johnson and Danny Tidwell who both joined Cat Deeley on center stage in an extremely nail-biting and tense situation. The very sexy Cat Deeley revealed that the winner of So You Think You Can Dance 2007 was indeed Sabra Johnson, sending her to tears. Phenomenon called quantum tunneling makes photons exceed light speed 2007-08-16 17:10:41 It seems two clever German scientist claim to have made photons exceed light speed, how they did this was with a phenomenon which is called quantum tunneling. The scientists came across this breakthrough one day when they were conducting an experiment which used a process which used both microwave photons and prisms. Mostly the photons were reflected back off a pair of prisms, both of which were positioned with a gap in between. However some managed to tunnel through and reached their destination at the same time as the reflected ones, even though they had traveled a greater distance, the result quantum tunneling. Bush is engaged to Henry Hager, who is the son of a Virginia Republican. Jenna Bush aged 25 and Henry Hager 29 became engaged yesterday, this was according to a statement that was released in Crawford, Texas, where President Bush is on vacation. No date has been set for the wedding yet, both Jenna and Henry have been going out for about two years now. Max had been ill for the past few years, but sadly past away in New York. Jury reaches verdict in Jose Padilla terror case 2007-08-16 14:11:59 The jury has reached a verdict in the terror case involving Jose Padilla, also two co-defendants have also been charged with supporting al Qaeda and other extreme terrorist groups. The jury which consists of five women and seven men took about a day to deliberate on the trail that has gone on for three months. If found guilty Jose Padilla, Kifah Wael Jayyous, and Adham Amin Hassoun could all face a life sentence. Myleene Klass Has Given Birth To A Baby Girl 2007-08-16 14:05:13 Myleene Klass has given birth to her first child a little girl called Ava she was born three and a half weeks early and weighed 5lbs 9oz. Myleene gave birth in a London hospital with her partner Graham Quinn by her side and both mum and baby are said to be doing fine. Myleene is said to have gone into labour after presenting BBC One’s The One Show with Adrian Chiles on the way home her spokeman said that she felt a bit weird and went to the hospital to get checked and they told her se was in labour. Houston battered by bad weather caused by Tropical Storm Erin 2007-08-16 13:34:16 Houston has been hit by heavy rain, as Tropical Storm Erin passes through. Houston started to suffer this bad weather this morning as the system hit the shores just north of Corpus Christi, this was the first named weather system to hit the land of Texas since 2003. Tropical Storm Erin made its way up from the Gulf of Mexico, which had wind speeds of 40mph although Erin will not cause much damage apart from a little bit of flooding on the coastal areas with only 3 to 5 inches of rain, although 6 to 8 inches of rain have already fallen in Matagorda County. Hitman Exclusive: New Photo Released 2007-08-16 12:24:35 A new photo from Fox’s big screen adaptation of the popular Hitman video game has been published by USA Today. The film does seem to run in the same vein of the game and I hope that, unlike many other video game adaptations, does well at the box office. The movie follows Agent 47 as the hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian military chase the Hitman across eastern Europe as he tried to find out who set him up and why they’re trying to take him out of the game. The movie trailer didn’t do much justice for the film, but star Timothy Olyphant didn’t really help the situation in a recent interview, “I know people want you to be true to the game, but no one really wants to go pay for a movie to watch a video game, “And, look, it’s a movie. Judging by the title of the book, people are expecting it to contain some kind of hidden miracle, but to be honest, it doesn’t. The book is pretty much full of logic and common sense mixed with a little bit of humor, which is probably what makes it so interesting to read. One of the most significant ideas made in the book is that “we should eat for nutrition, not for our food preferences or because we have be full constantly”. Eating your vegetables whether you like them or not and pushing the table away before you are gorged are the simple facts that make this book what it is.
