2007-08-22 01:55:02
Last month, the United States finalised a nuclear deal with India, which allows India to buy nuclear fuel and nuclear technology without limiting production of nuclear weapons or the testing of nuclear weapons. This nuclear deal caused riots in both India and the USA and in the parliament in India, opposition politicians were shouting at Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take back the India – USA nuclear deal. Many people, both inside India and outside of India are hoping that the Indian government can show some self restraint in using this new nuclear technology to develop and test nuclear weapons. Do you think the US should have made this nuclear deal with India? Is this deal a good thing for the people of India or not? Source Written by Roy for Product ReviewsIn Sections: Politics, News ...
President Bush: Iraqi Government Has Got To Do More
2007-08-21 18:07:30
President Bush admited today that the Iraqi government is not doing enough to bridge political divisions with the country. With September 15th just around the corner, it allows President Bush very little time toprove the success of the temporarily increased number of troops based in Iraq. A lead argument Bush is expected to present will be that former Sunni insurgents are now being involved to help the fight against al-Qaida, as a result of the larger number of troops now based in Iraq. When Bush met with the now Prime mister of Iraq al-Maliki he dubbed him ‘the right ago for Iraq’. Over a year later however, Bush admitted at the North American summit earlier today: “I think there’s a certain level of frustration with the leadership in general, inability to work - come together to get, for example, an oil revenue law passed or provincial elections,” Are the increased number of troops in Iraq having a positive effect? With the current leadership not work ...

Analysts predict that the PS3 price drop will improve its sales over Xbox 360
2007-08-21 17:30:37
Even more analyst have predicted that the amount of Sony PS3 games consoles sold in July will be more than what was sold of the Microsoft Xbox 360, thanks to the price drop of the Playstation 3. Early numbers do suggest this. Most analysts say that the PS3 price drop gave an unexpected boost in sales in the month of July, and with the recent hardware issue that the Xbox 360 has had of late only helped to slow its sales down. Do you think that the PS3 has finally started to sell more games consoles than the Xbox 360? Written by Peter for Product ReviewsIn Sections: Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3, Gaming ...

Gold and Silver ETF Hold Steady Through Market Turmoil
2007-08-21 15:58:31
Recently, there has been a fair amount of fear in the financial markets, resulting in a sharp sell off in the stock market which dragged indices such as the DOW, the NASDAQ and the S&P 500 significantly lower. However throughout this time, the gold and silver ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) have remained steady with no large volume of sellers flocking to the door. Silver analyst Sam Kirtley of The Silver Prices Newsletter said: “During the bad time in the mainstream markets, gold and silver do well as investors move to investments such as the silver ETF to protect their wealth. If you believe, as we do, that the worst is yet to come in the financial markets, then things such as the silver ETF as well as physical silver bullion and silver stocks, may be a smart investment.” Do you think the Silver ETF is a good place for your money while the market is in trouble? Will the silver ETF continues to provide a safe haven for investors? Which is better, silver bullion or the silver ETF? S ...
First National Bank of Arizona has shut down its wholesale and correspondent mortgage operations
2007-08-21 15:46:43
News has just broken that yet another bank has decided to shut down their wholesale and correspondent mortgage operations. The bank in question is the First National Bank of Arizona, this is one of Arizona’s largest banks, and the reason for closing down their wholesale and correspondent mortgage operations is because they want to focus more on their operations on their retail origination. The First National Bank of Arizona shut down this operation effective from 1pm EDT on the 21st August. Any wholesale and Correspondent locks which was received before 1pm EDT will be honored, which will be a relief for customers. In 2006 FBNA’s mortgage operations grew to a massive $7.6 billion, but it is not sure if these figures include just fundings or for the total of the banks mortgage book. It is not certain if or how many jobs will be affected by the closing of this mortgage operation. Written by Peter for Product ReviewsIn Sections: Business, News ...
