Giants And Jets Uncover New Stadium Design
2007-09-05 13:55:02
The Giants and the Jets have uncovered the first stadium to be jointly owned by two NFL teams and the plan is to make two competing teams feel at home in a $1.3 billion stadium
The stadium is located on a 40-acre tract and has got five parking lots between the existing stadium and the racetrack this eight-story; open-air stadium will be the first in the league to house two franchises.
The stadium has been financed by a 50-50 joint venture of the teams and about $300 million in state funds.
Steve Tisch who is the chairman and executive vice president of the New York Giants has said that “Ensuring that the stadium would feel like home to both teams and both groups of fans was our goal and also one of the biggest challenges in the design of the stadium and to do that, the stadium will feature an eight-story mega display, called the “Great Wall, with 400-foot-long by 40-foot-high panels featuring either team’s logo or neutral colours for non-football events.”

New Apple iPod Touch Announcement Coming Up: What To Expect
2007-09-05 13:21:17
Believe it or not Steve Jobs actually thinks most people are still clueless as to what to come up within the very close announcement regarding the huge Apple event. Oh how wrong he is. Now of course, we can never be one hundred percent sure, but I suppose time will tell as to whether we are correct or not.
Reasonable evidence suggests that a new iPod Nano design has been brought about, making the screen bigger, and giving the small device a more square shape as opposed to the long rectangular shape it currently holds. Apparently, it can play videos too, not that I can see why anyone would want to on such an inevitably small screen.
As for Apple’s big toy, the chunky, big and original iPod will have quite a significant makeover. Many analysts believe that Apple’s move to make the new Apple iMacs the same colour as the iPhone, silver and black, will reoccur in the theme of the new iPod, named the iPod Touch for obvious reasons. This is due to it most likely sharing the same ...

Sudhir Mishra to Direct Bollywood Adaptation of Hamlet
2007-09-05 09:26:17
It seems that Shakespeare is the inspiration of choice for Bollywood filmmakers at the moment. This time, Hamlet is to get a Bollywood makeover into a political thriller.
In recent years, Bollywood has successfully adapted Shakespearean tragedies Macbeth and Othello, moulding their political tone to modern day Indian settings.
Director Sudhir Mishra, whose films combine popular with arty says he will use Hamlet’s dilemma to explore the ‘sleaze and sordidness’ of Indian politics.
“It is an out and out thriller,” said Mishra, talking about the film named “Devdas”.
The plot for the film not only draws from Hamlet, it also draws from the classic Indian tragedy about unrequited love, Devdas. Continuing, Mishra said,
“Though I have drawn inspiration from two brilliant works, my film will put the protagonist in a modern day scenario. He will be the child carrying a rich political legacy and witnessing the sleaze and sordidness of contemporary Indian polit ...

Behind The Scenes Photo and Sneak Peak Review: Ben Affleck’s Gone Baby Gone
2007-09-05 08:20:28
Behind the scenes photos from Ben Affleck’s Gone Baby Gone have been published by Entertainment Weekly. The photos show Ben Affleck consulting with cast members on upcoming scenes.
The film has had a huge buzz surrounding it and I’ve no doubt that it will live up to the hype. It’s unusual that the film isn’t showing at any of the fall festivals, but someone has sent in a sneak peak review to AintItCool, which only makes us more excited about the movie.
“This film is very good. It’s beautifully shot, and Older Affleck uses his locations to the fullest. For a first major directorial venture it’s put together well, and doesn’t drag. The ending is a great example of a cinematic exhalation of breath (you’ll see what I mean). Ed Harris steals the show. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a nod from the little naked golden man for this one. If this is an indication of his skills, I’d like to see more from Affleck. He has pace, shots, and construction down.”

TRON Director Steven Lisberger To Direct Soul Code
2007-09-05 08:05:38
After a 19 year absence, TRON director Steven Lisberger is set to make his return to the big screen. Following the success of TRON, Lisberger directed the bad John Cusack film Hot Persuit. His next film, Soul Code, sounds promising.
Steven Lisberger will direct Soul Code, a film written in collaboration with Jessica Chobot. The project was sold for mid-six figures to Reliant Pictures. The film follows the story of a ‘tech pioneer who has perfected a way to download and transfer a person’s memory. Script examines what happens when her memory is placed into a much younger woman’s body”.
Marina at MadAboutMovies, says “the story is a rip-off of a bunch of other writer’s works, primarily William Gibson,” many critics agree with this statement. Even so, this promises to be a good sci-fi film and, isn’t that what we’re all waiting for?

2007-09-05 06:42:08
It has been reported that Jude Law has been arrested for allegedly attacking a photographer yesterday. Jude voluntarily went to a police station and was later released on bail.
The actor is said to have hit the shutterbug in the face and kicked him to the ground after first accusing him of trying to take pictures of his children.
The Photographer who was at a bus stop near Jude’s west London home was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for a hand injury.
The photographer has said that “I was at a bus stop near Jude’s house, but I wasn’t taking pictures of him - my camera was still in the bag and he was by himself when he recognised me and started accusing me of wanting to take pictures of his children he then punched me in the face and started kicking me. I was shocked at his behaviour.”
What do you think about this if Jude did hit the photographer then he must have had a reason why don’t you think?

Exclusive Photo: Cloverfield/1-18-08 What Will JJ Abrams Movie Be Called?
2007-09-05 06:15:48
Ever since JJ Abrams’ monster movie has been announced, a huge question mark has lurked above the name for the film. The code name, Cloverfield, was put forward and everyone accepted it. Then, when the film went into production, on set a whole load of different names were used including Slusho!, Cheese and Chocolate Outrage.
It’s now come to light that even the production crew didn’t know what to call the film. The crew got given gifts (as seen in the picture) with all the different titles printed on them, but crossed out.
The trailer and website have gone with 1-18-08, and many people have warmed to the idea of this title. At Comic Con, four posters were released with the titles “Terrifying”, “Monstrous”, and “Furious” which caused further confusion. Then, there was the trademark filed by JJ’s attorney ‘Overnight’, which was one of the favourite titles.
In a new twist to the tale, it has been reported that the film will be titled “WRECK”. If so, how the he ...

Scarlett Johansson To Star In Diamond Heist Movie ‘Brilliance’
2007-09-05 05:59:54
Scarlett Johansson has joined with music video director Samuel Bayer (Justin Timberlake’s What Goes Around..Comes Around) to make an action packed heist film.
The film, titled ‘Brilliance’ follows the story of diamond thieves and is set for a late 2008/early 2009 release. Speaking about the movie, director Samuel Bayer told MTV,
“It’s called ‘Brilliance’ and it’s about diamond thieves, and we start shooting this winter. So many things came together in all the right ways. It really was a case of ‘what goes around, comes around.’ In a good way. Scarlett is one of the sexiest actresses around, and she can just become her characters. Look at what she did during the Corvette scene, which a lot of people won’t catch. She was shooting that on a green screen, and right before we were rolling, she was laughing. We start, and she’s crying. It was just unbelievable. It’s stuff like that which makes you know someone’s a star.”
Hopefully this movie can bring Johansso ...

David Ferrer Tennis News: in US Open he upsets Rafael Nadal
2007-09-05 05:57:15
David Ferrer (No. 15) runs Rafael Nadal (No. 2) ragged in the US Tennis Open, winning 6-7 (3), 6-4, 7-6 (4), 6-2.
David Ferrer’s tennis seems to of improved, seeing Rafael Nadal so worn-out that he dropped to the court and sat with his legs stretched out and head bowed.
Rafael Nadal has had some amazing successes in the past; he is the 3 times French Open champion and has even been a 2 time Wimbledon finalist.
It does seem that Rafael Nadal’s body is not up to scratch right now, but he failed to comment on this which is likely because he does not want to make excuses.
