Danni Crushes Contestants Dreams.
2007-09-03 02:48:30
Match making Fearne Cotton set up a lunch date between Dannii Minogue and X-factor contestant Chris Gale, only for Dannii to later crush his dreams of being on the show. Chris sang, “Hello Again” by Neil Diamond when he auditioned in Birmingham only to be told by Dannii that she was not putting him through. “She’s playing hard to get, isn’t she? Maybe she’s done that because she wants to separate our wonderful relationship from the whole X-factor thing” Chris said. The third episode of X-factor saw a Japanese woman who had traveled 6,000 miles just to meet Simon Cowell. She told Simon “I like you very much. I came here to meet you. You are very big in Tokyo”. “You’re very cute I may have to take you home” was Cowell’s response. Written by Emma for Product ReviewsIn Sections: Celebrity News, News ...

Primary School Resits Possible!!
2007-09-03 02:42:06
It has been reported that if children are not up to scratch then it could be a possibility that they will have to re-sit the last year of primary school. David Cameron would like to see an improvement on discipline within schools whilst also setting a high standard for literacy and numeracy before children enter into their secondary education. I do agree that each child’s education should be brought up to a certain level to give them the best start within secondary school. Cameron has also said that the possibility of summer schools for some children could be explored; this would increase chances for children who have fallen behind to catch up. These steps have been taken in some European countries and the US. Written by Emma for Product ReviewsIn Sections: News ...
Are Childcare Standards Falling
2007-09-03 02:40:18
This is a worrying subject as many children spend as long as 10 hours per day in some form of childcare. I know my kids do in the holidays, although I am one of the lucky ones to have fantastic childcare this is not true for some of the providers out there. It is reported that hundreds of parents have complained that children are being ill-treated whilst left at a childcare provider. Inspectors have warned that some children have been exposed to racism and have been left on their own to cry on their own in nurseries. Some centers have also been report for failing to teach the difference between right and wrong. Christine Gilbert, Chief Inspector for Ofstead has said “there has been ‘many improvements’ but where the provision is inadequate we will continue to monitor these providers and take enforcement action where necessary’. Nearly 100 complaints were received from parents of which: 1. A baby being left to cry and the emotional needs of the child not bein ...
Lullaby Spring artist Damien Hirst sells diamond encrusted platinum skull for £50 million
2007-09-03 02:39:33
We all remember how much Lullaby Spring made at auction for Damien Hirst the wealthiest artist, but now the artist has topped that 9.6 million pounds figure by selling his diamond encrusted platinum skull for the huge sum of £50 million. The skull was sold to an investment group that Hirst is part of. I am not sure if the skull warrants the auction price of £50m, it has been cast from a 35-year-old 18th century European man, and the skull still has its original teeth. The skull has now been coated with 8,601 diamonds, one of which is large, pink and in the centre of its forehead and is worth £4 million. Damien decided to own a share of his work so he could oversee a global tour of the skull and some of his other work. The skull has caused some outrage as some feel that the work is tasteless, some experts in the art world still say that Damien Hirst is a bit of a joke in the art world, but he much be doing something right. Contents Insurance for Uni Students
2007-09-03 02:34:28
As exam results have passed and student are off to University one thing that should be considered is contents insurance. Especially with the amount of gadgets which they have. Students have in the region of £13,000.00 worth of contents each in the place which they reside according to Legal and General. Naturally items of a smaller size such as MP3 players and iPods are the most popular to go missing. On in three students are victims of crime whilst being at University. This is as properties tend to be left unattended whilst students are at lectures or for long periods of time during holidays. Some contents insurance is actually included in the price of the accommodation such as Hall of Residence, it is always worth checking before you purchase a policy. It is also worth checking as some insurers will not only insure one room within a house. Two of the insurers who specialise in Student Contents Insurance are Endsleigh and E & L. Big Brother 8 Grand Finale: Security Guards Separated Rowing Charley and Chanelle
2007-09-03 02:21:40
Big Brother 8 finale always goes out with a bang and it certainly did between Charley and Chanelle because just before the live grand finale security guards had to separated rowing the pair. Apparently Chanelle strode up to her rival and said: “Who the hell do you think you are, saying that Ziggy fancied you? “You think you can s**g him? Well, you’ve got no f***king chance you tramp!” Chanelle also slammed Charley for threatening to throw a bucket of water on her. A source said that” They were screaming blue murder and had to be forced apart by security. Charley yelled back that she had never threatened violence to her.” What do you make of all this? It was clear in the house that the two never got on so maybe they should have never been put near each other in the first place. I feel sorry for Ziggy in all this he is clearly in the middle. Anyway on a good note well done Brain for winning Big Brother 8 Written by Kerry for Product ReviewsIn Sections: TV Shows, News ...
Sarah Silverman strips in new movie I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With
2007-09-03 02:16:41
When you hear that a female comic has a new movie out you think great then you find out that that comic is to strip in the new film you worry, as you would expect this comic to be a bit on the plump side. Well you people can get exited again as that comic is the sexy Sarah Silverman. The new movies are called I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, and hits theaters in New York and on IFC this Friday. I would not expect much from this movie though as it was shot in her apartment in Los Angeles, and the budget is also very low. But do not take my word for it, as some of the best movies have in fact been very low budget. It seems as if Silverman’s popularity has grown since she famously sniped at Paris Hilton at the MTV Movie Awards in June. Written by Peter for Product ReviewsIn Sections: Film News, News ...

This Category 5 storm will reach Belize and northern Guatemala on Sept. 5, at the moment the hurricane is moving through the Caribbean Sea.
