Quentin has said that “My producing partner at the time Lawrence Bender was hanging out with some dude from Fox or Warners or whatever, and they said I should stop working on what I was doing, because I’d be so into this I tried to watch the old TV show, but it sucks. Hyundai i-Blue Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle to be Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2007-09-03 05:13:17 The Hyundai Motor Corporation is to show off the green car as the i-Blue Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle will be Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on the 13th September. It is not just the big automakers who are looking for a greener alternative as Hyundai show their commitment for the development to environmentally friendly vehicles. The i-Blue Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle is hydrogen-powered and forms part of the zero-emission concept of vehicles which is to incorporate the third-generation of Hyundai’s fuel cell technology. The i-Blue is a step forward with the commercialization of Hyundai fuel cell vehicles, as they used to be on the SUV platform but is now to be featured on a CUV. Hyundai are very proud of the new i-Blue as it is their first vehicle with fuel cell technology that has been designed from the ground up. LeBron and the US basketball team defeat Argentina to win the FIBA Americas 2007-09-03 05:10:13 On Sunday, the United States international basketball team defeated Argentina to win the FIBA Americas basketball tournament, and earned themselves a place in the Olympic games.Top scorer was NBA Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James, who rakced up a huge 31 points towards the 118-81 victory. 31 is the highest amount of points scored by any Americas athlete in an Olympic qualifier. Carmelo Anthony, who made 16 points, said “I’m tired of bronze, I’m speechless right now. This is my first time ever winning the gold medal.” Dwight Howard scored an additional 20 points towards the three-figure total. Daniel Bedingfield’s Computer That Contains Album Material Is Stolen 2007-09-03 05:08:11 It has been reported that Daniel Bedingfield has lost an album full of material, after thieves struck at his Los Angeles home and stole his laptop. The laptop is said to have contained all of his new material, which he planned to include on a new charity album. Daniel who is the brother of star Natasha Bedingfield said that “The songs were for a fundraising album for my mum’s charity Global Angels”. Let’s hope that who ever has taken it will return the laptop quick to that they can get this album completed. Glad I still own an Xbox 360 for Halo 3: September 25th and 26th 2007-09-03 04:38:25 With all the recent problems I had with the Xbox 360 and its overheating, I am still glad that I kept me 360 after buying the Sony Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii. Although for the past few days my gaming hours have been taken up by the Sony PS3 and Warhawk, I will be going back to the Xbox 360 for Halo 3…and am I looking forward to it. Halo 3 is a game I have been waiting all year for and in a few weeks it will be here with us, September 25th Northern America and the 26th for Europe. Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles European sales top the 100,000 mark 2007-09-03 04:29:42 Toyota Motor Europe has something to celebrate as their Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles top the 100,000 mark in European sales. The vehicles were launched way back in 2001 and have taken six years to sell 101,235 vehicles, and these figures are set to climb quickly as more people go for the hybrid option. The biggest seller when it comes to these green cars is the Toyota Prius, which has seen sold over 73,000 units since 2000 in Europe. The Lexus LS 600h has helped with the 27,000 sales that the company has achieved in Europe. Both Toyota and Lexus expect to sell about 1.22 million vehicles annual, and out of that sales figure the both expect at least 44,500 of them to be hybrids. At the moment both these automakers have four different hybrid vehicles on the European market, one of which uses the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive and the other being the Lexus Hybrid Drive technology. Although many reviewers have said that the 2008 version is only slightly better than the 2007 version, this does not bother me as I do not own the older version of the game (so a must have for first timers). You could not have two automakers with different ways in the automobile market, one is about building pure breed sports cars while the other build cars that look a lot like each other. It is not known why Porsche wish to own VW, maybe it has something to do with them wanting to get hold of Volkswagen’s green technology as it seems that this is the way forward for cars. 2012 Lexus GS-F to get 500 HP V10: BMW M5 watch out 2007-09-03 03:40:56 The Lexus GS-F which will be out in 2012 will have a beast of an engine the 500 HP V10; it seems as if Toyota want to take on the BMW M5. This is only a rumor though so do not read too much in but we do hope that it will become more of a rumor. The 500 HP is a sub-five-liter V-10 Formula 1-inspired engine so you know that the results will be superb. So the 2012 Lexus GS-F will be one fast sedan. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that is a modified version from the LS 460; you can also switch over to manual shift by using the F1 style paddles for a true racing feel. They have both worked together for many years now hosting MDA Labor Day Telethon. Anchor Ed McMahon will once again join Jerry Lewis for the 42nd Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon. Way back in 1966 the MDA Labor Day Telethon was only on one TV station but in 2007 this Telethon will be on 190 television stations and will be seen by over 40 million viewers. Last year the 21-hour show raised $61 million for the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association).
