Just A Quick One
2007-09-03 10:29:54
Tomorrow, 5.00 am I will be on my way to Kota Kinabalu for yet another course. Fortunately, this is only for one day only. And yes, this added to my not-so-many-post on August and in this coming days. It is very hard for me to find a time that I can write a post without thinking “I need to finish this quickly”. There are so many things that I haven’t done and others have been delayed (such as my reviews for those who had commented in my blog). Well done a bit of blog hopping, and found out about this cool logo by Avijit Paul (I hope I spell it right) that can be found in this blog post. I’m gonna put one here for my blog visitor to see it first hand.
Isn’t it is beautiful? Independence is a beautiful word and it does bring out the memories behind it (for those who fought for it). I salute those HEROES that did what is needed to get the independence. I also salute those UNSUNG HEROES (who ever YOU are). Well done to Avijit and team ( ...

The Tip Of Borneo
2007-08-29 12:41:29
For those of you who don’t know where is this place, it is situated in Kudat, Sabah, Malaysia, ASEAN, Asia (I think that is complete). The name of the place is actually Tg. Simpang Mengayau but for promotion, it is called The Tip Of Borneo. Actually, there are 2 tip of Borneo. One in Sabah and one in Sarawak but I never heard of a ‘tip of Borneo’ in Sarawak (or maybe they just don’t publicize it).
Anyway, I put up this post because I’m proud of this place wonderful scene. Some people who have visited it said ‘it is a heavenly scene’. You can see those photos here. I have a few photos of Simpang Mengayau but it is not as clear as the photos you see on drizad’s blog.
My friend, Kay also posted his story on Tanjung Simpang Mengayau. This place is very interesting for those who are looking for a place to rest their mind and body. As for those who like to travel, below are a few websites that you can check for further in ...

8 Main Causes Of Liver Damage
2007-08-29 02:43:45
This is my second post about healthiness. This one is sent to me by my friend intan via email (thanks intan). Enjoy reading it…
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and ti ...

10 Brain Damaging Habits
2007-08-28 02:29:24
The hectic time is over and I’m on my way to write a new post for my blog visitor (yes, for YOU) at least 3 post a week. Today, I’m going to write about something that I read about our beloved BRAIN. Maybe this is out of my normal post (tech, news headlines, reviews) but I think this is very interesting to share with all of you. Read on…
1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling pollute ...

Do You Know This Song?
2007-08-26 11:17:09
A few days ago, I receive a message from my friend in my friendster account. I check out the link and I got an unpleasant surprise. You need to find out for your self what is that surprise. Actually, this is an Indonesia site. When you click on the link, you’ll be presented a short info about this group called ‘Samson’. The paragraph actually saying about the hidden message behind their song entitled ‘Kenangan Terindah’ (The Most Wonderful Memory). They compare it to a few western song that have a hidden message (unholy message, to be exact) when the song is played in reverse. They say it is the same with this song. So, check out the link. Do not take off you eyes from the interactive bar as you may not hear the hidden messages. Enjoy it!

Are They The Real Deal?
2007-08-21 10:54:51
Firstly, I’m very sorry because I didn’t updated my blog for a long time since I posted my family photo (which is password protected, want the password, contact me). I’m very busy this holiday. This one week holiday had turned to one week not-a-holiday week. After this post, I’m not sure if I can post in this week because I’m busy with church sport (I think I mention it somewhere) and after that busy with other church activity for Merdeka Day (31st of August 2007).
I just want to turn your attention to my topic today which is regarding emails that I received from my social communities site. At first, I though it was genuine but after receiving the same email all over again, I know this is some kind of hoax. I don’t know what is the motive of the sender to send me a email like this (does this happen to you?) but I know that I won’t reply to this kind of email. Below is the example:
My name is alicia i saw your profile toda ...

2007-08-11 10:00:26
As I mentioned in my last post, I’m quite busy with other things now. So, I just have time for finding a good article and share it with my visitor (reader). This article is worth reading (even I’m busy, I’m hooked by this article). Enjoy reading it.
We hear a lot about “Web 2.0″ these days. It sounds neat and it’s trendy to talk about blogging and social media. But does it really affect our businesses? Is Web 2.0 just for kids and tech-hipsters or is it something we business owners should use to help promote our businesses?

It’s Been A While…
2007-08-10 10:00:24
Yep, I have been away from my beloved blog for a while (in term of updating my post). I do check up how many visitor I got in a day or check out if there are new comments. Thanks for those who have left their comments. I really appreciate it. Actually, August have been busy for me. We are having our first SPM (Malaysian Examination Certificate) trial and I’m still in the middle of checking my students answers. In the same time, I need to check our FingerTec system (for staff attendance) which I have no idea what is wrong with that damn software. Another task in line up is giving mark for my students PEKA (practical-experiment) report. In the mean time, preparing for my church sports big event and my school, uniformed association camping. So, is the list long enough for you? I can put a few things for you to read if it is not enough. Aren’t you tried just reading this paragraph? Some of you may already wanted to leave this blog because of this long par ...

The Top 10 Tools for Monitoring the Success of Your Website
2007-08-04 11:28:56
I found this article to be very interesting. So, I decided to share it with my blog visitor. I didn’t change a word in this post. It is the original article made by Steven Snell. You can read about him in the last paragraph. Enjoy your reading.
One of the most important aspects of running a website is monitoring the site and its progress. By monitoring your website you will be able to see how it is performing and how it can be improved. This article covers 10 frëe tools that can help you to optimize your site for maximum results.
1 – Google Analytics
Google Analytics has become the preferred option among frëe statistics programs. Like any other stats program, Google Analytics provides data on the number of visitors, and page views, referral sources, entry and exit pages, and more. I’m BACK…
2007-08-02 13:21:41
Yes, I’m back from the idea-sucking-my-brain-fluid-out workshop at AVH. I arrive at home at about 9 o’clock and I watch the Apprentice before I bath. After that, tuck my sons and wife to sleep…so, shissh, don’t make a loud noise. Anyway, before I forget (I nearly forget yesterday), yesterday was my 3rd wedding anniversary and I will make my wife read this blog tomorrow (she never read my blog…). I can’t celebrate my third anniversary this year (on the date, 1st of August) because of the workshop. Apa boleh buat, (direct translate=what to do) that is a part of my responsibility as a teacher.
This is actually my second post for the month of August. The 1st one is my short review for Menj’s Blog4money.info. Anyway, while I’m in was at AVH, I managed to read a few things on my favorite magazine and I managed to typed a few of the important facts on a few software and websites. This is going to be a long post but do re ...

You don’t want RM 1,000 ?
2007-08-02 12:13:36
Well, it kind of strange to me that Menj’s contest is not getting enough attention as it should be. He is running a review contest that started on March (when is the actual date ah Menj?) where the winner will get RM 1,000 for the prize. I don’t think that this post will qualify me to get the RM 1,000 that he promised to give to the winner but at least I’m getting a link back to my blog.
Menj blog is at blog4money.info and you can tell from the domain what is the info that we are going to get when we visited his blog. Yes, of course, it is about blogging for money. Like most of the blog that write about blogging for money, you can read about Menj attempt to get some cash by blogging and he is also giving away tips and a few pointer about affiliate programs, text link ads, internet income etc.
I do get a different kind of info from Menj’s blog. He got this short post about making his face look like a Simpson (which I actually kinda like the ...
