Oblivion Review 2008-02-08 23:52:00 Welcome to my The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Game of the Year Edition(PS3) game review. Enjoy.StoryGoing into this, I knew Oblivion would have an epic story to go with it's epic landscape, and it sure doesn't dissapoint. You start out as a prisoner in the emperors castles prison. The emperor then comes into your cell to go look for something, where the only way to it is through your cell. You follow into the deep dungeons of the castle, and eventually the emperor gets killed in battle. A new job is thrust upon you to go and find the emperors son, the true heir to the throne. On your journey to find the heir you must go into Oblivion Gates, which lead to the hellish land of Oblivion. You must shut down these gates to prevent them from taking over. It is a really great story, and what makes it even better is that each character you talk to has a voice over. Be A Real Guitar Hero 2008-02-08 00:05:00 Now actual guitar players can stop their whining and nagging about the Guitar Hero series of games. Guitar Rising is an all new game in developement, which looks to show Guitar Hero players how it's really done. Guitar Rising is basically a guitar simulator. Much like Guitar Hero in that you hit notes on the screen as they scroll toward a line. But in this game you have 6 strings to deal with it. Also, you won't be using any plastic guitars for this game. Oh no, you get to use the real deal. Supposedly any real guitar will work. For the commoners without a guitar, this doesn't seem like a practical game, seeing as the least you would spend buying a guitar is $100, so you might as well just buy Guitar Hero. But for you guitar owners this will be a great, and extremely challenging game. I can't wait till it's released, the date being later this year. The Truth Behind Windows 7 2008-02-06 20:33:00 A few weeks ago I posted a video showcasing the rumored Windows 7 operating system, which would be the successor to Vista. Much speculation has gone around that it is fake, it's just a modified version of Vista. The video, and other pictures, were indeed Windows 7. The thing is that the Operating System is in it's early stages. It does look a lot like Vista, but that isn't the thing it has changed. There have been mostly speed improvements, and otheer slight adjustments, but it is no question a new OS. Microsoft says that we won't be able to get our hands on it till 2009, and I'm guessing either late 2009, or even 2010, till it actually is released. I guess it's something to look forward to for you weary Vista users, I just hope it doesn't do as bad.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

New iPhone & iPod Touch Models 2008-02-06 00:02:00 Of course, the day after I get my iPod Touch a new model comes out. It was eventually going to happen, but I had no idea it would be this fast. Apple has announced that they will release a new and improved version of the iPod Touch and the iPhone. Well, the only thing new about them is the hard drive size. Both the iPhone and iPod Touch's hard drive capacities will be doubled. Leaving the iPhone with 16gb of storage, and the iPod Touch with 32gb of storage. Both devices will cost $499. With the current models still availiable at $399 (8gb iPhone, 16gb iPod) and $299 (8gb iPod). I probably still wouldn't have gotten the 32gb iPod touch, but it still makes me mad. It's like when you buy things on Saturdays when you know on Sunday all the stores release the ads with the product you bought the day before on sale. I hate that. NVIDIA Acquiring Ageia 2008-02-05 00:28:00 Well this is big news for you NVIDIA graphics card users (I'm one of them). The leading graphics card maker has made the acquisition of Ageia, and physics card maker. I am guessing that not too many people were shelling out the money for solely a physics card, I myself see it as pointless to buy unless you sleep in a bed of money. But this is certainly good news for gamers. Soon NVIDIA cards will come with Ageia's physics chips embedded in the card, making NVIDIA chips that much better with the addition of advanced physics hardware. Can't wait to see what NVIDIA does with Ageia, I just hope they make a cheap card able to run Crysis good...Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

P2P File Sharing Legal In Italy 2008-02-03 21:15:00 Apparently Italy has unknowingly made it legal to share music files over the internet. Though there are a couple constraints, they are vague and pretty much useless. The music has to be noncommercial and degraded, meaning of lower quality I believe (correct me if I'm wrong), which most music over the internet is. In essence, in Italy it is completely legal to use P2P programs to share copyrighted files over the internet, as of now. I am assuming that the Italian politicians will catch on and realize what they have done. But to fix it, they will have to pass another law.
