Ocean's Thirteen Review 2007-12-17 01:15:00 I just saw this movie a few days ago on DVD, so I give you a review. I have seen the previous two movies, Oceans Eleven and Oceans Twelve, and out of those I would say it is the worst. Now, in no way is it bad, it's just that the others were better. I think the guys behind it are running out of ideas, as it is vaguely similar to the first movie. The plot is that this man Mr. Band (played by Al Pacino) is opening an amazing new hotel/casino called The Bank. The theiving crew, led by Danny Ocean (played by George Clooney) plans to shut down the establishment. To do so, they planned to create a simulated earthquake, hoping to run everybody out. Well, to do the earthquake they need this drill, and to get the drill they need the help of the bad guy in the first movie (whom they rob of millions of dollars) to get the drill. In order for him to give the crew the drill, they need to steal a bunch of diamonds. It is a slightly confusing plot, just like the previous films. Overall a very fun mo ...

Super Mario Galaxy DS? 2007-12-16 19:04:00 It is most likely going to happen. But a video was found that shows Super Mario Galaxy gameplay footage with a couple DSs playing it, and Luigi being a playable character. It seems logical, but the video is most likely a fake. Either way, how could Nintendo not put (acording to many reviewers) the greatest game ever on their portable gaming system. Unless of course Nintendo is tired of bathing in gold coins. The Dark Knight Posters 2007-12-14 19:56:00 As some of you may know, the next Batman movie will be out in the Summer 2008. But this film follows the darker side of Batman, and is in itself not exactly a Batman movie. The Dark Knight is a comic book spin-off of Batman. Get Windows For Free (Not Really) 2007-12-13 00:09:00 Well, as of yesterday you could get Windows Vista Ultimate (along with other Microsoft software) for free via Microsoft's invasion of privacy program. But today they apparently are not offering up the free stuff. To begin with, you could choose between softwares like: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate, Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007, Microsoft Money Plus Premium, Microsoft Student with Encarta Premium 2008, and Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008. All you would have to fork over is your entire sense of privacy on your home computer for 3 months. Microsoft would be monitoring everything you do to "better understand how you use your computer and what your interests are". Seems fishy to me, but I was partly considering it, as I wouldn't mind having Office. But of course, I would just put the software on some old computer and play Solitare on it from time to time. Kongregate 2007-12-12 19:32:00 While browsing through my latest issue of PC Gamer, I cam across an article about Internet games, where they mentioned a website called Kongregate.com. I decided to try it out, and man am I glad. With a computer class and nothing to do in it, this site will certainly keep me occupied. It is an online games site on steroids. You can find just about any type of game, and pretty much any online game, as people and game companies can upload games as they please. That's good and all, but the thing that really stands out is the points and achievements system. Like Xbox Live games, if you complete a certain goal, you get achievements and points as well. These points are like experience in RPGs, you need so many each level, and when you get enough your level, or ranking, goes up. Very cool idea, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to play some awesome games without installing anything.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Playstation On Your iPhone 2007-12-12 00:06:00 Is your NES emulator for your iPhone seeming a little outdated? Do you desire more out of your touch screen games? Well you're in luck. A Sony Playstation emulator for the iPhone has been made. It seems like it would be a little bit awkward to play, as you can see in the picture. Also I'm not sure how the performance would be, but I would assume not too great, but most likely playable. Collossal MP3 Player 2007-12-11 00:17:00 I found this quite funny. A few days ago at my local Wallgreens pharmacy I saw this "Collossal MP3 Player" for sale. And you can guess what it is. It is a giant MP3 player, about the size of 1 1/2 hard back books. It has 256mb of memory, and even has a screen. More often than not it is probably a joke gift. The thing that really surprised me is that these are all around the US. I thought it was just some lame joke thing that was maybe local to a certain area. But, sure enough, I found a blog post on it. Trick Your Zune 2007-12-10 00:52:00 As most of you (should) know, Zunes can share individual tracks with other Zunes via it's built in WiFi. When given a song, your Zune can only play the shared song 3 times. Well, with the Zune 2 and it's new podcast support there is a way around this lock. All you have do is pick a song you want to share and, on your PC, change the genre to podcasts. Apparently if you share podcasts there is no 3 listen rule, which makes sense seeing as podcasts are free. This is just a small little work around that will probably be patched fairly soon.
