Xfire Live Chats 2.0 2007-07-19 19:32:00 Ok, so yesterday and today I participated in 2 more of the chats i previously mentioned. I chatted with bands Less Than Jake, and 16volt. There was significantly less people in these, compared to the Megadeth chat I was in. I was sad that I didn't get into the Harmonix (creators of Guitar Hero) chat, because they were giving away vouchers for the upcoming game Rock Band. Anyways, I had not heard of these bands before, but I thought the chats were interesting. For the 16volt chat I came in 40 minutes late, and they answered one of my questions pretty quickly, unlike the other bands. I ended up winning a signed CD and poster, so I was happy. Tommorow is the last chat of Xfires Music Week, and the band is 311, a regaeish group that I hadn't heard of either. iPhone Nano? 2007-07-19 16:40:00 I want to quickly touch on this. There have been rumors going around that soon, Apple will release another version of the iPhone based on the iPod Nano's design. There have been many doubts, and many things that support the rumor. I personally think it's fake, I wouldn't want a tiny version of the iPhone. It would probably have limited features, and other things lacked. Though if it had 3G I'm sure it would sell. I think it would be a bad move for Appple, but as stated in many rumor supporting stories, they have done things like it before with the iPod. Movies on iPod 2007-07-18 19:40:00 I may have been out of it, but for the longest time I never figured out how to get my own DVDs onto iTunes, then onto my video iPod. Well I have figured it out with the help of this nice guide. It is very simple really, you just get 2 free programs, hit a couple buttons and wait an hour or so. Peter Moore Resigns 2007-07-18 17:04:00 Ah, well yesterday news spread of Peter Moore's resignation as the head Xbox at Microsft. This is somewhat surprising to me, because just under a week befor this was E3 where Xbox was making more progress. Well, aparently he got a job as the president of EA games, which I'm assuming pays more. How that is possible I don't know. Anyways, this could mean a whole new Xbox campaign, or the downfall of the system. We'll just have to wait and see.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Xfire Live Chats 2007-07-16 19:13:00 So, I told you about the Xfire chats earlier today, so now I'll talk about the aftermath. It was pretty cool. There were about 40 people in the chat rooms asking questions for the Last.fm guys, and 3 Inches of Blood. But the Megadeth chat was a spam fest. Luckily good ol' Dave Mustane answered some of my questions, and I won a signed copy of their latest CD United Abominations. From the Last.fm chat I won a 6 month subscription to their premium services, which I thought was kinda cool, then realized it added up to $20 worth.It was a fun experience, and I can't wait to do it tommorow with bands Mindless Self Indulgence, and Elegant Machinery. Transformers 2007-07-15 19:39:00 Review --Well, I thought it was great. Lots of action, some humor, and a somewhat good story. The special effects were AWESOME. I can't imagine how long it took to render even 1 transformer. The detail was amazing, every little gear and light was so intricate. A+ to whoever did the effects. There was also a great blend of humor and action. The transformers themselves were funny because they acted like children in ways. Not knowing what to do, and also making jokes with the human characters. Despite what I have heard other people say, I thought there was plenty of action, there could have been more, but you can't always get what you want. I give it a 9 out of 10. Great, entertaining movie, I would reccommend to Transformers fans, and non-fans alike. Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ... Transformers
