Xbox 360 Price Drop? 2007-07-28 16:47:00 Well, there have been rumors floating around that Microsoft will be cutting the Xbox 360 price down $50. That rumor was quickly shut down and put aside. But a Walmart ad brings it back in the game. This is kind of like how the PS3 price drop occured. There was an ad for it that got leaked on the internet, then a week or so later it was officially announced. Deja vu...Also Target had announced that they would only carry Blu-Ray DVDs, which puts them on one side of the HD format war. But that isn't entirely true. They will still carry HDDVDs, but will have special promotions, and more in stock of Blu-Ray DVDs.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ... Xbox

Interesting MP3 Player 2007-07-26 21:11:00 I came across this odd, somewhat cool (in my opinion) MP3 player today. It is made by Greenhouse Japan, and is called the KanaSD. Now, most people will see this and say "that's stupid" and I would understand. But it is an alternative toi the iPod Shuffle. This little player costs a mere $18. Whats the catch you may say? Well there is a whopping 0mb of memory. But it has an SD slot, which is a step above the Shuffle, as it has a max 1gb of memory I believe. This device has very similar controls as the Shuffle, but comes in a cooler package, in my opinion. I won't be buying it, and I doubt many people will. Xbox 360 HD Drive Price Cut 2007-07-26 17:29:00 Well, recently the High Definition Disc Drive add-on for the Xbox 360 has been cut in price. By a mere $20, which I don't think is enough, but it does come with 5 free HDDVDs. People always complain how the PS3 is so much more expensive than the 360. Sure, technically it is, but if you wanted all of the features of a PS3 (like the HD compatibility) it would cost you $580 for the Xbox 360 premium packagae + HD Drive. So in effect the 360 is more expensive. There has also been rumors of an Xbox 360 price cut to compete with the PS3's. But there has been no confirmation, and it is unlikely to happen. New CDs 2007-07-25 20:03:00 Sorry I haven't posted yet today. I've been busy. Anyways I purchased a few CDs at my local Target on this fine day. One was Peice of Mind by Iron Maiden, which I am liking a lot so far. The second is the Black Sabbath Greatst Hits 1970-1978, which I have yet to listen to, but I know it's good because I have heard all the songs before, just never had it on CD. And the third I got was reccommended to me and I had never heard them, the album is called Resurection, and it's by Chimaira, and I have not heard this one either. I hope it's good. Fun Game 2007-07-22 19:57:00 Well, I cam across this game earlier and I thought i would share it. It's called "The Return" and you are an alien I believe, and you have to swing your way up to what seems like a planet's surface before your tunnel gets flooded. 6th Gen iPod Video 2007-07-22 15:50:00 Well, this video has been circulating the internet, and it is very interesting. Supposedly it is the new iPods interface, that is to come out august 7th. It looks pretty interesting, and if it was in fact the new interface, I think it's pretty good. But I would be surprised if this was real. Though it does seem cool, I doubt anyone from Apple would have the ability to make a nice video such as that. Insurgency Mod 2007-07-21 21:24:00 I recently downloaded this great Half-Life 2 mod, and I gotta say, it's one of the best mods I've ever played. It is a multiplayer FPS based around the present day in Iraq, and was made by soldiers that have first hand experience. It is very realistic, there is virtually no HUD, or interface, which ups the realism. You die fairly quickly, and the physics are very realistic. It is really fun, especially when you have the RPG launcher, unlike most games, this rocket flys fast, so you get super easy kills. It is really a great deal of fun. I believe all you need is one of Valves Source based games (Counter-Strike Source, Day of Defeat Source, Half-Life 2, etc.) which will allow you to download the Source SDK Base which is needed to play the game. I would reccommend this to any FPS fan looking for a realistic game, or if you want to know what it's like in the ARMY, as it requires a great deal of teamwork. Great game, 9/10.==>LINK ...
