Shooter Movie Review 2007-08-19 15:18:00 I know this movie has been out for a while, but I just saw it last night on digital cable, so I thought I would give my review. This movie follows an elite US Marines sniper (Mark Wahlburg) that is set up by the FBI to make it look like he assasinated the president of Ethiopia. He then has to run and hide, and overall kills a bunch of people. This is a pretty good action flick. Lots of killing, good effects, OK story. Overall a very entertaining movie. You won't be seeing it win an Oscar, but a quality film nonetheless. Great for action/suspense junkies or anyone that's bored and needs something to get them pumped up. I give it an 8/10. New Guitar 2007-08-18 20:44:00 Well, this weekend was the big Guitar Center aniversary sale, so me and my dad had to check it out, being musicians and all. So we ended up buying a Jackson Randy Rhoads style guitar. It's pretty cool and I'm liking it so far. It looks like the guitar in the picture below, except it has a black finish. Very good guitar, I would recommend to any aspiring guitarists like me, or any veterans in the need for a kick-ass guitar. I would rate it a 10/10. Cool DS 2007-08-17 22:12:00 Quick Post -- Well, a new multi-colored Nintendo DS Lite has been rumored to be released and now it has an official date, and it is very soon. On August 21st you will be able to get your hands on this all new Crimson/Black Nintendo DS. The package includes the device itself, a carrying case, and the game Brain Age 2. All this for just $150, a mere $20 more than the regular DS Lite now availiable. I have an old DS, one of the originals, and compared to the new ones it looks pretty dull. New Palm Smartphone 2007-08-16 19:41:00 Quick Post -- Palms new smartphone was announced, and it is not another Treo. What's that you say, is this possible? Yes, it indeed is. This new device is called the Centro, and will be avaliable on Sprint at launch. This is reportedly the smallest smartphone to bear the "Palm" name. It also has a touch screen, as well as a full QWERTY keyboard, and 3G capabilities. Which is a big plus. And at a great price of around $100, what could be better? New Samsung MP3 Players 2007-08-16 14:34:00 Samsung has released a few new MP3 players this week, so I thought I would throw some info at you guys. There are 3 new models in this line, the YP-P2, YP-S5, and the YP-T10. All look very sleek and are about the same size. The great thing about the YP-P2 is it has a touch screen, and nicely implemented I must add. The designs on all of them are quite good, and if I didn't already own an iPod, and had my music collection on Windows Media Player, I might consider getting one of these. The YP-S5 and the YP-T10 both have normal navigation controls, which I think are of the touch sensitive variety ala previous versions of the player, but with no touch screen. The all can play music, video, and radio. With the YP-T10 having radio recording. And the really neat thing about all of these players is the built in bluetooth. This enables the use of wireless bluetooth headphones, or possibly transfering music files or something of the sort. Anyways, if you're in the market for a new MP3 player, ... Samsung

Bioshock Released a Week Early? 2007-08-15 13:49:00 Quick Post -- Well in some stores at least. The much awaited PC, and Xbox 360 game has been released through some, if not all Toys R' Us stores. Who knows if it was intentional or not, but it's probably just a screw up. Some other stores (EB games, Gamestop, etc.) have reported having Bioshock for sale, but the number of stores was fairly small. But it's pretty cool if you have a Toys R' Us near you. Go get the game right now! The game was supposed to be out on the 21st. Well, I have to go throw stuff in a dumpster for hours on end. DS Emulation on PSP 2007-08-13 20:10:00 It was eventually going to happen. Someone has put a Nintendo DS emulator on a PSP. The money his dead father supposedly owed was 218 Trillion dollars. Now, obviously this is a mistake. I don't even think that amount of money exists.
