Led Zeppelin Reunion 2007-09-12 18:27:00 I thought I would mention this due to the fact that this blog has a small music base. Led Zeppelin, the legendary and one of the most influential (next to The Beatles, Elvis, etc.) rock bands in history will be reuniting for what might be one night only. The 3 living members will perform, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones, along with Jason Bonham (John Bonham's Son) on the drums. Along side a few other classic rock guys, they will perform to tribute to the recently deceased Ahmet Ertegun, the founder of Atlantic Records. Very cool stuff, this is huge. New Treo 500 2007-09-12 00:11:00 Quick Post -- Well, I have reason to believe that Palm will be having an anouncement either tommorow, or the day after. But to hold us off till then, some Treo 500 photos have been leaked. And to me, they look pretty cool. They seem a lot thinner than the previous models, as well as a better designed and more well oriented keyboard and soft keys. Wii Zapper Release Date 2007-09-10 23:47:00 Quick Post -- Busy day today, just got back from a 4 hour drumline practice. Anyways, so the recently announced Wii Zapper peripheral will be released on Nov. 19th. It presumably comes with a Zelda mini-game that should integrate the Zapper in quite nicely. Worms Open Warfare 2: Review 2007-09-09 15:31:00 I picked up my first DS game in a few months yesterday, so I guess I will review it. The name of the game is Worms: Open Warfare 2, and you can get it on the PSP and Nintendo DS. It is a crazy turn based strategy game of sorts, where you control these little worms and try to kill other little worms. There were a bunch of games in the Worms series for the PC, which I had a few of them. Really good fun, and this game brought back some memories from the older games. There are all sorts of weapons you can use in the game. From shotguns, and uzis, to exploding sheep and bannana cluster bombs. Very fun, works great on the handhelds. If you are a kid, or an adult you can't go wrong with this game. Tons of modes, deathmatch, forts, and more. Along with a lot of customization, and very good online WiFi play. I give it a 9/10 due to the fact that I would have liked the 2nd screen to be used for something.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Firefox On The Rise 2007-09-08 00:13:00 This is pretty big news. Firefox, probably the most popular open source browser, has now topped over 400 Million downloads. That is a great achievement in a world where everyone on a Windows machine is forced to have IE on thier machine. But it does bring up some questions...How many of those are redownloads from updates or new versions? I really don't think there are 400 Million FF users, but who knows. Kid Saves Life, Gets PS3 2007-09-06 23:48:00 Quick Post -- I thought this was humorous. So, a 9 year kid saves his dad's life by driving a tractor when his dad passed out behind the wheel. He then asked his dad for a PS3 in return, which is kind of odd I would say. Anyways, then apparently Sony heard about the story, so they sent him a PS3. How nice. iPhone Price Cut / Rebate 2007-09-06 18:47:00 I thought this was interesting. Apple reduced the price of thier beloved iPhone down from $600 to $400. Now a lot of people are probably happy...if they haven't already got one of them yet. But the current owners of the phone have been really angry, mostly because the price was lowered 2 months after they spent their $600 on a device that's now $200 less. So, Steve Jobs decided to respond by giving every iPhone user a $100 certificate towards any Apple product in one of thier many stores. Now, this means theoretically, you could get a $300 iPhone, with $100 worth of accessories.Or you could put the $100 towards one of the new iPods if that's what you fancy. The guys from the band Aerosmith are already in talks with the creators of the next Guitar Hero game. And supposedly the game will be "dedicated" to the band's music. BAM! All New iPods 2007-09-05 18:31:00 Well, as many and almost all of you know, the new iPod line was announced today by Apple. And man, am I glad. I'll start with the smaller Nano. It is a much sleeker, and shorter device, coming with a larger screen. Features include video playback, as well as the new interface. Very cool, and super small and stylish with many colors to choose from. On to the newly named iPod Classic. This is reminiscent of the previous iPod in that it has the same shape. The new design comes with an all metal casing, and a sleeker body. The features are basically the same as the Nano. It comes in either 80gb or 160gb hard drives compared to the 4gb and 8gb flash based Nanos. Also has cover flow, the search function, and the new interface as well. The thing that I'm really excited about is the iPod Touch. The rumors were true, this is the all new iPhone like iPod. It has a 3.5" multi-touch screen and is a bit smaller than it's phone counterpart. This 8 or 16gb iPod comes with video and audio playback ...
