Happy Thanksgiving
2007-11-22 18:51:00
Ah, Thanksgiving. The great American holiday where one can stuff himself full of food and not be judged. For the long weekend I went down to the beach. Nothing like playing Guitar Hero all day, and hanging with my family for a few days. Well, I'm off to go eat me some turkey and mashed potatoes. I would like to wish everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving a happy holiday. Now go prepare for your Black Friday shopping sprees.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Rock Band Released
2007-11-22 01:17:00
Just thought I would mention it, for those who don't know. The former developers of the Guitar Hero franchise released the much anticipated game Rock Band yesterday. In this game you have the choice of playing guitar, bass guitar, drums or vocals. You have a large song list to choose from, and it is a lot like Guitar Hero in the sense that the gameplay is pretty much the same, except the drum kit and vocals add a lot to the game. I personally am excited about the game because I am a drummer, and though I do love Guitar Hero, it should be fun rocking out on the drums for Rock Band. You can get the whole package (comes with: guitar, microphone, drum kit, and game) for either PS3 or Xbox 360 for ~$170. Yeah, sure it's a lot for a single game, but you get all the cool peripherals. Plus, the ability to create bands online will be awesome.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Fanciest Keyboard Ever
2007-11-21 20:12:00
This just might be the coolest keyboard of our time, with, I might add, the coolest name. The Optimus Maximus keyboard is packed with features. Each key has a small OLED screen, and it is able to show pretty much whatever you want. It comes with software that allows you to edit what is on each and every key at any given time. You can change what languages the keys are, how the keys are arranged, and whatever else you desire all with the click of a button. You can even add program shortcut icons to the abbundance of spare programmable keys the Optimus has. All I gotta say is "I want one NOW." But of course, this type of technology comes at a price, and a very high one at that. A mere $1500 is what it'll take to buy one of these babys. So it's basically unatainable for us normal folk...Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

New Phones
2007-11-21 00:29:00
Sadly, I did not get a new phone. Yet my parents did. My mom was tired of her 5 year old Motorola that survived through all the AT&T name changes. They got the Motorola KRZR and RAZR. They are well known to most people, so I will not review them. I like them though, very cool and sleek. Good feature set. Solid phones over all. Just thought I would mention this...Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Black Friday Ads
2007-11-20 00:15:00
I thought this whole thing was funny. Black Friday ads from various stores have been leaking out over the past weeks, and for what reason to care about? I do not know. I mean, unless you plan on camping out in front of your local Best Buy or Walmart on Thanksgiving night, these ads do nothing but inform. I can wait till Thursday morning to know where I can get a laptop for $200...I don't see why it's such a big deal that these things are leaked (if you have a reason, please tell me)...But hey, if you want a laptop / printer combo for $230, a 160gb hard drive for $50, or an 8 megapixel camera for $130, Best Buy is the place to go this Friday. LG Voyager
2007-11-19 01:23:00
Yet another iPhone competitor. The LG Voyager is a new smart phone to come out on Verizon's network some time soon. The Voyager will appeal to the person that is interested in buying an iPhone, but likes to text. The phone is like LG's V and enV phones in that you can flip the screen open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, as well as another screen. Also, the phone has 3G EV-DO speeds (which the iPhone does not have), Bluetooth, V Cast w/ TV, full HTML web browsing, expandable memory and more. It may have a few more features than the iPhone, but I doubt people can escape how good the iPhone looks. Though, this is, in my opinion, one of the top competitors. You can pre-order it now for $299 with a 2-year contract. Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Amazon Kindle
2007-11-18 20:21:00
The electronic book has been around for a little while, though none have been remotely successful. Amazon is here to change that. The Kindle is the company's newest product. It will cost $400, and it ships tommorow. With a 6 inch screen, 30 hours of battery life, and a book purchasing service ($9.99 per book) over Sprints EV-DO network, the Kindle might just be the electronic book reader to rule them all.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Hellgate: London Review
2007-11-18 01:57:00
So I have had Hellgate: London for a week now, and I gotta say, I am really liking it. Though, it does have some issues. I will start by reviewing the gameplay. You can either choose to play Single, or Multiplayer modes. In single player you progress through the story as your character levels up. In multiplayer mode you do the same, but you have the option to group with other players, as well as additional PvP and more content. The first character I started with was a Marksman. As a marksman I use multiple types of guns (rocket launchers, machine guns, shock guns, explosive guns, etc.) By being a marksman you have the option to play in the first person or third person modes. I thought this was very cool, as I have not seen an first person RPG before. The gameplay is very intuitive and fun. Your mouse controls the characters crosshair. It is more of a 3rd person action RPG than your traditional point and click RPG, and I really like that about it. The amount of weapons there are is very ...

Guitar Hero LEDs
2007-11-17 01:36:00
This is a great mod. This guy modified his Guitar Hero controller so that when he presses a button, a nice light will illuminate it. Very cool stuff, if it wasn't so hard I would think about doing it. But I don't really have the patience to make new transparent colored buttons... Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Heated Keyboard
2007-11-16 00:17:00
I found this very odd. The Warmkeyboard is a keyboard that warms your hands as you use it. I find this to be pretty useless. You have your fingers actually touching the keyboard for maybe a second at a time, if that. Which is not nearly enough time to heat it up the slightest bit. Plus, wouldn't your fingers already be somewhat warm, or at least not cold, from moving them around typing? It is interesting, but in my opinion, ultimately pointless. But hey, if you have the constant trouble of cold fingers, you can pict one up for $50 at Amazon.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Black Eee PC
2007-11-15 20:08:00
I have yet to talk about the new Asus Eee PC. So when I saw that a new color was coming out, I decided to. The Eee PC is a linux based computer that is very small. Smaller than your normal run of the mill laptop. With a 7" screen, and dimensions of 8.86" x 6.30" x 0.79-1.26" this baby is made for travel. It also comes with the standard Wireless internet built in, a 4GB or 8GB solid-state hard drive, 512MB of Memory, and integrated video. As well as a customized linux operating system with over 40 pre-installed applications. Seems pretty cool to me, for only $400 this PC is perfect for anyone on the go. You can not get it in black over at Newegg.comThank you for subscribing to my blog! ...
