RIP Evel Knievel
2007-12-01 00:11:00
It was a sad day today. Probably one of the most famous, and certainly most daring stuntman of all time, Evel Knievel (age 69) passed away today. I was never a huge fan, as I was born after he did all of his amazing stunts. But I gotta give him credit. When he tried to jump over Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, he was set out to die. He crashed, breaking a bunch of bones, and wound up in a coma. But oh no, he lived on, and I think he kept doing stunts. That's a man with a passion. And I respect that. I know this has nothing to do with technology or anything, but I thought it as a worthy mention.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Through The Fire And Flames - BEATEN
2007-11-29 23:18:00
WOOHOO! I am ecstatic. Earlier this night, history was made. I have completed the Guitar Hero III song entitled Through The Fire And Flames by Dragonforce in the expert mode. This song has been infamous for being very very hard. The intro itself is enough to make people fail within seconds. But I have conquered the challenge. I got through the intro by tapping with my right hand, which is normally used for strumming. Picture + link can be found below. WOO! My life's goal has now been fulfilled.(I assure you that no cheating was used, and this is indeed a picture of GHIII playing on my PS2 on my terrible TV)Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

iPhone 3G In 2008
2007-11-29 17:29:00
It is (somewhat) official. Or at least on AT&T's side. AT&T's CEO Randall Stephenson stated that the 3G model of the iPhone will be released next year. And what I am thinking is, why didn't they just release it to begin with? I'm sure people would rather wait a few months to get a 3G version, even if it costs $100 more than the now $400 iPhone. To me it seems like a bad idea to say right before christmas that a new version of a device will be released the next year. I am guessing that they will sell fewer now that this is in the public eye. Though, we don't know when the 3G model will come out yet. That's for Steve Jobs to decide...Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Tay Zonday Video
2007-11-29 00:08:00
He's Baaaaack. That's right. Everyone's favorite singer of the infamous Chocolate Rain video has returned. With cooperation from Dr. Pepper, he has made an all new music video. It is a nice remix of all his hits (JOKE, HAHA). Namely Chocolate Rain... This is stooping pretty low for Mr. Zonday, the whole video pretty much makes fun of him. But hey, like he says in the video, "I'm paid a hefty, hefty fee". I can't really blame him. If I was (somehow) an internet superstar, I wouldn't mind shooting a music video for some quick cash. Enjoy the video.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Hilarious Comic
2007-11-28 23:16:00
I recently came across a hilarious comic on Explosm.net. Cyanide and Happiness is a great comic with stick people. There is some crude comedy, but it still manages to make every comic hilarious. Here's a recent strip that made me laugh. Good stuff. Enjoy :)Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Wii Peripherals For The Murderer In You
2007-11-28 00:31:00
I came across a few Nintendo Wii add-ons that are (to me) pretty funny. The first is a somewhat copy of Nintendo's own Wii Zapper, except the Wii Infrared Laser Magnum Gun is more realistic, and has a little cheat device implemented in it. With the built in, not only can you shoot Wii ducks with a semi-realistic gun, but you can do it in style with a laser pen attached. I think I am missing the point of it, but it seems to me like it would be useless...especially at a price of $20.The second I saw was the Wii Z Sword Remote. With this bad boy you can hack and slash your way through your favorite games, literally. Both these products seem kind of odd to me, but what do I know, I have only played the Wii once. Though, the gun seems like a cool idea, but I mean come on, is the laser guide really necessary?Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Slim PSP Outsells Original
2007-11-27 00:13:00
Not in overall sales of course. But the Slim PSP did reach 1 million sold before the original. The new Slim PSP (aka PSP-2000) sold 1 million units within it's first 2 months of being on sale. While the original PSP (aka PSP-1000) sold 1 million in 2 1/2 months of being on sale. It took just 2 weeks longer than the Slim PSP. This is surprising to me, seeing that the PSP has been out for some time now, I wouldn't think sales would be this big for a 2 month period. Sure, Sony advertised the new PSP, but they really didn't say what was new about it, or that it was even new. I guess people like them some Star Wars branded PSPs...Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Famicom DS Adapter
2007-11-26 00:21:00
I found this to be genius. Lucky DS users in Japan will soon be able to get their hands on the CYBER Familator Lite Famicom adapter for their DS's. The Famicom (Family Computer) was Japans version of our American known NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). What this adapter would allow you do to is play old Famicom games through your DS. The device itself is pretty bulky, but it has to be big enough to have room for a cartridge slot, so the bulk is understandable. Supposedly you can hook up a modification of some kind to get the device to play American NES games, but I'm not quite sure how one would do that. The Familator will be availiable in Japan in December.Thank you for subscribing to my blog! ...

Beowulf Review
2007-11-24 19:49:00
If you are looking for the manliest movie of the year, look no further. Beowulf is an animated movie monster filled with action, adventure, and women. I would say men would overall enjoy this movie more than women. First of all, I have no idea how this got a PG-13 rating. With tons of blood, people getting ripped in half and heads getting chopped off, along with the 5+ minute Angelina Jolie nude scene... This has R written all over it. I'm sure it is only PG-13 due to it being animated, but still, I wouldn't be sending a 10 year old kid to see it. Speaking of the animation, it was AMAZING. Probably one of the best looking animated movies I have ever seen. A few times I caught myself thinking that they were real people. The story was pretty good. A king searches for a hero to rid him of a troll-beast called Grendel. Beowulf comes to help the king with his "curse". And it continues from there. It really is a pretty good movie. Action packed, great voice acting and animation. A must see ...
