The only post you will need to bookmark
2008-01-04 10:51:00
So many nice articles that interest me, so many posts I needed to bookmark in 2007, so many times it bothers to find an article from those articles. Then I come across this article with so many links in it. This is what I was looking for, everything in just one article. Now I only need to bookmark this article.

A Gadget we would like to see in 2008
2007-12-19 00:55:00
What’s New Tomorrow? Sure, we were salivating when we were reading up on all these cool gizmos and technologies, but something was missing. That’s the whole problem actually—something’s always missing. When you see a cool smartphone with a 7-megapixel camera, PDA functionality, a hard drive bigger than what desktops had five years ago, and a mobile CPU faster than what was on that same five-year old PC, you still end up saying, “I wish it had a notebook’s functionality!” We’re geeks, and we’re happy to admit that we’re never satisfied!
Well, whether any manufacturer bothers to listen or not, we decided it’s OK to dream. We sat down and tried to come up with our dream gadget, or more correctly, every geek’s dream gadget. We called our gadget GOD. Now, before you get all righteous, start screaming blasphemy, and damn us to eternal torture in hell, you should know that GOD, here, is an acronym for ‘Gadget of Our Dreams!’ We decided we needed a gadget that obvi ...

See more when night driving with Rayzer
2007-12-17 04:15:00
Growing up in the Midwest, it’s not at all uncommon to be told to “watch out for deer” when leaving someone’s house. In fact, if it’s dusk or later I’m almost surprised if no one informed me of the potential threat these four-legged creatures pose to me on the road (as though I haven’t lived in the country for nearly my entire life). There’s really not much you can do to protect yourself against a head-on encounter with one, you just have to know where the run and keep your eyes peeled. A little extra lighting never hurt, which is the idea behind the Rayzer.
The Rayzer is an aftermarket lighting kit that mounts between your rear-view mirror and windshield. This position allows the lights to illuminate your surroundings far better than your ordinary headlights. The first thing I thought of when I saw this was that I would hate to be driving anywhere near someone that had one of these. Think about it, those lights are going to be shining a ...

PhpBB 3.0 Reviewed
2007-12-15 10:38:00
PhpBB 3.0 was released yesterday and it was received well by its lovers. The news hit the Digg FrontPage quite quickly. PhpBB 3.0 was released 6 years after PhpBB 2.0 was released. For those of you who don’t know what PhpBB is, it is one of the most popular Forum CMS (Content Management Software) and that too Open Source. Which means that it is free and there is a vast community which is always ready to help you with your queries.
PhpBB 3.0 has got a lot of extra features than its little brother PhpBB 2.0 like a new theme called ProSilver, a resynchronise or reset overview section, a nicely setup board Statistics section, a cookie handling tool, a new moderator control panel and nicely arranged tabs.
The download was a mere 2 MB and installation was also a charm. Just download the file and installed it on my computer using EasyPhp (Let me keep that for another post). It just took me 2 minutes in all this process. The installation was speedy and anybody with zero experience in ...

Here Comes a Watch for Titanic Lovers
2007-12-13 04:49:00
Generally, I don’t repot on watches, as they are so…untimely. Yeah, that was pretty stupid, I know. This one caught my eye because it is so untimely.
This is a watch made of parts from the Titanic. That’s right, the Titanic, the ship that sank on its maiden voyage, taking 1,500 lives. I said untimely because this watch would have been cool ten years ago, when Titanic was released into the theatres as one of the biggest movie hits ever.
So, anti-kudos to the Titanic-DNA watch for coming up with something that’s a little too late in the latest fad department. Also, thank you for taking a piece of a history and making a watch on it.
That’s right, the Titanic DNA watch is mad from materials found from the original romantic ship itself. That’s right, those really thick-hulled submarines descended in order to bring up pieces of scrap from history, just to make you a watch. Too bad they couldn’t find the blue Heart of the Ocean jewel.
I have no idea how you can ...

Google is Cheating me, and so it does to others
2007-12-09 22:19:00
Google is one of the most successful stories of Internet. The best search engine, captured the online advertisement market with their popular AdSense program. Some really swear by AdSense while others hate it like anything. I am myself a big fan of Google and all the services they provide. As you may see this blog is moneytized only through Google AdSense. I was seeing a decrease in my earning from the last 2 weeks but I thought maybe people don't just click on the ads on my blog. But then I checked my blog's stats on MyBlogLog and what I observed left me shocked. It shows 199 people have clicked on the Ads yesterday and 183 have clicked on them the day before. But the AdSense stats show that I have got only 5 clicks in the last 7 days. This can definitely not be the case of invalid clicks. If it would be, they should have banned my account by now. This keeps me thinking is Google so much hungry that they are cheating their AdSense Publishers. I have been ...
