Hey guys, Sherdog has some exclusive comments from Randy and I wanted everyone to see it. Heres a snippet."The motivation for the decision is two-fold," he continued. "I know Fedor (Emelianenko) just signed with another organization and that's the only real fight that makes sense for me at 44 years old as the heavyweight champion of the UFC. That's the fight I wanted and if that can't happen it doesn't make sense for me to compete with all these other guys. And then obviously that's not going to happen now. And, two, I'm tired of being taken advantage of, played as the nice guy and basically swimming against the current with the management of the UFC. I have a lot of other things going on in my life that I'm doing just fine with. I don't need the problems. This fight is from The Ultimate Fighter Finale 2 and its a classic. These 2 guys are all business when they get in the ring and it shows through this entire fight. Im not a big Sanchez fan but I happen to be a huge Diaz fan, that being said you gotta respect Diego for his efforts in this fight. Guy Mezger is the mma veteran of all veterans, this guy has fought everyone from Bas Rutten to Tito Ortiz. Although losing most of the fights to the top guys he likes to stand-up and bang, which makes for exciting fights. He was involved in 2 of the best early Pride fights, one against Chuck Liddell and the other versus Wanderlei. These guys go all out in this fight, its an absolute war. I recently got an email request for this fight. Fedor fought this fight with a broken right hand and you can tell by the way he punches, more like slapping.
