For all those who have followed the 2007 AIBA boxing world championships this year, you should know for a fact that this year's AIBA championships was not originally slated in Chicago for this year. It should have been in Russia. It turns out that Russia was unable to comply with the AIBA organizations requirements to host the event this year. The amateur boxing organization forfeited Russia's hosting privilege at awarded it to the city of Chicago.At the tournament in recent days, Team Russia showed it's might and superiority over the rest of the amateur boxing world as it barges 8 out of 11 boxers into the boxing tournament's semi-final round. Among the country participants for this year. Russia was the most successful followed by China and Italy.
