The maximum number of players per NOC shall be three entries in each of the five events, provided eachentry is qualified. The ranking and qualifying period for the Olympics competition will be from May 1, 2007 to April 30, 2008. Within that period, sanctioned badminton competitions will be used to determine the rankings. Mark Lopez of the US edge out of Taekwondo Olympic Qualifiers 2007-09-29 15:00:00 On the second day of the 2007 Taekwondo competitions in Manchester England, Mark Lopez of the highly regarded Lopez's siblings of Sugarland Texas lost to Korean Son Tae Jin in Overtime and thus failing to qualify for the Olympics in this try. Mark gets another shot at qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the Pan-Am Olympics Qualifier in December 2007 which is in Cali Colombia.
