Would you kill for 2008 Olympics Tickets?
2007-10-28 15:26:00
It's every man, woman and student for themselves come Tuesday as the Chinese Olympic organizers open up another round of 2008 Beijing Olympic Ticket sales! Yes! It's the kind of set-up where you can expect people to kill just to get their hands on at least a couple "premium" tickets. The resale value of these tickets can reach as high as 600% based on market value. Undoubtedly, there will be some unscrupulous people who will sacrifice a little time and effort for the prospect of reselling the tickets for a small fortune.Unfortunately for us, Tuesday's sale will only be available to people in mainland China. Tickets are limited. Only a maximum of 50 tickets will be sold per individual for those not-so-popular events. The sale of "premium" tickets for events such as the opening and closing ceremonies will be limited to 2 per person. Undoubtedly, that's a prevention measure against people planning to get rich quick by scalping tickets at outrageous prices. For the lucky ones to get the ...

2007-10-26 02:41:00
No shock in this bit. Where else would the best opportunity ( for a citizen of an impoverished country ) present itself but the land of milk and honey! Today when I found news that 3 boxers participating in the World championships in Chicago, it was hardly a surprise. This was what Fidel Castro was worried about! Some of you may remember the Cuban President opted not to let his boxers participate in this 2007 World championships because he thinks some of them may get a smart idea of deserting and seek asylum in this anti-Cuba country. In today's news, 2 Ugandan and 1 Armenian boxers have suddenly disappeared and seems likely to have deserted their boxing teams for a better opportunity of livelihood in the U.S. Now there's 3 more cases of illegal immigrants for the U.S.! LOL. The boxers were identified as Philip Adyaka and Sharif Bogere of Uganda and Vachagan Avagyan of Armenia. The three boxers went missing along with their luggage, increasingly the suspected likelihood of these 3 ath ...
