Jumping on the Tigers Bandwagon Already 2008-01-11 15:53:11   Bandwagon jumpers are back on the Tigers in full force, with the team making those offseason headline moves to get pitcher Dontrelle Willis and third basemen Miguel Cabrera. This past week the Detroit Free Press polled MLB Scouts and executives and 14 of 18 picked the Tigers to win the AL Central. Not a surprise, as of course when you add two All-Stars while the Tribe did next to nothing, it makes the Tigers stronger while the Indians appear to be staying status quo. With that though, consider if one of those two guys gets hurt, or if one does not pan out as a star in a different league coming from the National League to the American League (it’s happened before).
