I received quite a number of emails and queries regarding the AnitoKid's new header. It is kind of neat, isn't it? And to be honest with you, I LOVE IT! Dundee, my friend over at The Broken Bow, was the brains behind it. All I did was described to Dundee, aka Novice Blogger, what I imagined my header to be - colors, pics, etc. I was speechless, and I kid you not, when I first saw what he came up with. What he did was not just remarkable, not just aesthetically pleasing, but SIMPLY BEAUTIFULI The Broken Bow went beyond my concept and turned it into A WORK of ART!He used Photoshop to group and crop the individual images, designed the layout, added a few touches to the A-Kid favicon - and LO! AND BEHOLD! - a header I am very proud of to display for years to come! And speaking of favicons, Dundee touched up the "Salakot" with my Seeking Alpha badge and incorporated it in my blogger template so that it will show up in the A-Kid's URL. And as a closing to yesterday's post on the rude comment left by Mr. Andrew dela Serna (creator of ratified.org) at my friend's blog, ManilaMom:I, the AnitoKid, am also bowing out of ratified.org's Top 100 Philippine Blogs list. I am doing this not because it is the coolest thing to do right now - come to think of it, IT IS THE COOLEST THING TO DO - after what Mr. Andrew blurted out and whined about. I am doing this because Mr. Andrew's irresponsible comments destroyed any credibility, real or imagined, that his ratified.org had.And being the creator and all of ratified.org, a list that uses Technorati data and Feedburner stats to chart the progress of Filipino bloggers around the world, Mr. Andrew, I believe, should had been more responsible in the way he dished out his comments. Found this at ABS-CBN Interactive:Professional wrestler Chris Benoit was found dead Monday along with his wife and young son at their Atlanta home, the World Wrestling Entertainment said on its Web site.Law enforcement officials in Fayette County said Monday the dead included Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and their seven-year-old son, Daniel.The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported that police are investigating the case as a murder-suicide. No details were released but the results of autopsies are expected Tuesday. Is there such a phrase? Are you passing judgment, Andrew? Kabayan? I respect your views and all, Mr. Andrew. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. But what i will not tolerate is your arrogance and rudeness! What you said was uncalled for. And to come from a fellow Pinoy blogger!
