Contact Improv group on YouTube Not the most sophisticated of video productions, but interesting none the less. I had no idea that You Tube had groups (what rock have I been hiding under?). Not every video will fascinate me, but I have found a few interesting ideas.

English soccer team Manchester United have recruited a soccer player who is nine years old after watching video footage of him playing. Rhain Davis was signed by Manchester United after that saw four miniutes video of him. You can see the video at the bottom of the page. “Manchester United is proud of its history of developing talented young players, and invests considerable time and resources into trying to find the best young players of the future,” the club said in a statement. He truly seems to be a talented soccer player and the video does show he at his best, with dazzling skills for a nine year old. Internet bullying has been in the news a lot recently with shocking and disturbing videos being allowed to be broadcast to millions via websites such as YouTube. Now, teachers have kicked out and have demanded that these websites must be closed down to stop bullies targeting children and school staff online. But posting videos of physical bullying isn’t the only way bullies are getting their kicks. Instant messaging, E-mailing and text messaging are the new vessels for bullies who don’t want to be caught in the act. Sites like YouTube make it very easy for perpetrators to broadcast the mobile phone videos, which often show teachers, not just pupils being attacked and humiliated. In a recent investigation, YouTube was questioned about some violent videos showing beatings and even two children with guns acting in a threatening way to other people. As of September 2007, YouTube will launch a system specifically designed to clean the website of all the copyright videos as a cause of all the lawsuits and hassle google have been dealing with. It appears that for a small period of time, the site Youtube may have been hacked and messed about with, leaving the homepage with the videos of a one very annoying person trying to sell his song, ‘Chocolate Rain’. The CNN YouTube Democratic Debate was the typical liberal panderfest. It also oozed with total support for big government. While I could easily write a book about the absurdity that took place, this editorial may seem more like a stream of consciousness.For the first time, we really saw who the Democrats are. Anderson Cooper, in my opinion, did an excellent job forcing the liberal Democrats to expose their true intentions. He made sure that all the questions were answered and I commend him for that. The Democratic politicians that hope to become the next president of the United States of America are on the verge of making political history by taking part in the first debate to use only video questions submitted online by the public. YouTube and CNN are linking up in a debate that starts tonight at 1900 EST. Over 1,700 30-second questions had been uploaded by Friday covering a wide range of topics.
