A couple of days ago, we told you that Transformers will be released on IMAX this month. Well, we’ve now got the first look at the poster for the re-release and it looks great! The IMAX release of Transformers is on September 21st. The poster for the film is below, it’s not much different than an amalgamation of all the theatrical posters so far. Hace poco tiempo estuve en una discoteca y pasaron la canción “Sexual Healing” de Marvin Gaye, así que trajo a mi mente una escena de la película Transformers. Esta hermosa canción junto con otras que también sonaron durante esa película, las nombraré pero sólo las que recuerdo, debido a que la última vez que vi la película fue hace 2 meses. DreamWorks Animation and Paramount Pictures have announced that, from now on, they will exclusively support the HD-DVD format. This is bad news for Blue-Ray, there will be no Blue-Ray version of Shrek 3 or Transformers. It’s not all bad news though, Spielberg directed movies such as the Indiana Jones trilogy will remain in multi-format form. Yesterday Paramount and Dreamworks Animation announced their studios would only be supporting the HD-DVD format in the Hi-Def DVD wars, which puts Blu-ray in the loser’s seat for this round. So when I read this little blurb from the hack master himself, Michael Bay, I nearly squealed in delight: I want people to see my movies in the best formats possible. For them to deny people who have Blu-ray sucks! They were progressive by having two formats. No Transformers 2 for me! Now from the title this new MP3 player may just sound like it has the Transformers movie branded on it. Nothing special, nothing new. But wait, there's more! This sucker is an actual transforming MP3 player. You can use your player, and transform it into the Shockwave transformers character. (In the movie he is the little evil bot that hacks into the gov't computers) This is PURE AWESOME, and genius. There are similar transforming products out there, like the Transformers Nike shoes, but those are toys. Not meant for use. But this MP3 player is a real player. I think it's awesome. Transformers is coming back to the big screen bigger, longer and uncut. Reports have said that Michael Bay’s big screen adaptation will premiere at IMAX theatres on September 21st/ with extra footage not seen in the theatrical release. It was always wondered why the film wasn’t released on IMAX to begin with. It’s the perfect medium to show a film with robots and Shia LaBeouf can only lok better on IMAX! If there is one massive film right now it would be Transformers and its pretty cool (one of my favorite movies this year), but as Halloween is on its way I thought I would digg up some old news on some really cool fully working Transformers costumes. Also there is a video below down a bit on this page that you can see of a homemade version. The photos come from the Marks Projects which built a series of costumes that can transform from robots to cars/jets while you wear them (now that’s cool). Whatever way you look at it, a transformer costume is a must have this year, so if you buy one or make it its all good. I saw Transformers today, and I have to say this movie totally rawked. Bumblebee had to be my favorite. Frenzy was pretty cool too. Even if he was a Decepticon. I even learned the bus scheduale while I was at it.

I used to wonder when I was a kid, how all these robots would look like in "real life". I'm glad to say that friends and I were not disappointed that night (our mouth were opened bigger than Gua Niah).Watching Transformers was a childhood dream come true. I was so touched when I first saw Optimus Prime transforming. That sounds wrong.Anyway, most of the reviews on this movie were not favorable. As David pointed out, they were so anti-Michael Bay. I say movie critics will gladly endorse "beautiful Oscar" films like Pride and Prejudice and label entertaining films as sold-outs. All the more reasons not to read movie reviews next time.
