Panasonic Lumix L10 Review
The second full-featured digital SLR from Panasonic is the new Lumix DMC-L10. And while Panasonic is a relative newcomer to the SLR marketplace, the L10 packs an impressive set of features and a very interesting lens into one unique camera kit.The DMC-L10 is a traditional-looking camera that looks something like a cross between an old fashioned film SLR and the Panasonic DMC-FZ50 all-in-one camera. The L10 comes loaded with new features including a fully articulating LCD monitor, improved user menus, a full ten megapixels of resolution and the ability to use contrast-detection auto focus in Live View mode using the sensor itself (though only with compatible lenses). There are also several features that have migrated from Panasonic's compact Lumix range, including Intelligent ISO mode, image stabilization built into the lens, and compatibility with SD and SDHC memory cards. Hands on: Panasonic DMC-L10 DSLR
A couple of weeks back, we caught a brief glimpse of the new Panasonic DMC-L10 digital SLR camera when it was first announced at IFA 2007 in Berlin.Today, at a journalist briefing at the Tower of London, we got a chance to get up close and personal with Panasonic's new flagship DSLR.270-degree LCDThe biggest addition to the new Panasonic DMC-L10 digital SLR camera is the 270-degree, full live view LCD screen. It flips open from the camera body at a 180-degree angle, and rotates around its axis to a free 270-degree angle - useful for shooting in awkward positions.AdvertisementAnother benefit is that your face will no longer be obstructed by the camera body - as with a traditional optical view finder - which can help when communicating with your subject. The Panasonic DMC-L10 follows on from the Panasonic DMC-L1 (which will remain in the DLSR family) and retains the Four Thirds interchangeable Leica lens mount system of its predecessor. It's easy to operate, although some buttons (such

Panasonic HDC-SD7 HD Camcorder is worlds smallest & lightest
Panasonic have done what we like and that is plain and simple “SMALL”, yes Panasonic have added another full HD AVCHD camcorder to their line up and what a camcorder it is. The Panasonic HDC-SD7 HD camcorder is the worlds smallest & lightest around at the moment but we are sure someone will build a smaller one. They have just announced the HDC-SD7 which will record at 1,920 x 1,080 to SDHC cards, the specs on the Panasonic HDC-SD7 HD Camcorder is basically the same as the 3CCD HDC-SD5 camcorder, ok so they have cut the sensor sizes and dropped the optical zoom from 12x to 10x on the HDC-SD7 HD but that does not mean you will get it cheaper oh no, in fact it seems the more they take out the more they want to charge. The Panasonic HDC-SD7 HD Camcorder is set for Japan only with a launch date of September 8th for around $1188 (¥140,000).
