It is a supposed leak of the new iPod Nanos to be announced this Wednsday. It is vaguely like the previous picture that I posted about. It's official. There has been speculation and rumors surrounding the internet about a large event Apple will be having in early September. According to the Engadget post about the event, it will be held September 5th, which is shown by a nice visual. Clearly this announcement will be about iPods, as the guy in the picture is indeed holding one. I personally can't wait. I'm tired of my old iPod that can just play music, and videos. I want something new. Best case senario for me is that there's an all new touchscreen iPod, running OS X (ala iPhone) with WiFi and an Internet browser, as well as video playback, and an FM tuner, if that's not too much to ask for... Parece ser que la gente tiene muy buenas fuentes que les informan. Well as some of you may know, there is a picture floating around the web of 5 supposed 3rd generation iPod Nanos. They look pretty realistic, as in not photoshopped. But this picture gets me wondering. They look as big, if not bigger than the current normal iPods. Who knows how slim they are, but they are certainly wider. The original picture at 9to5mac.com has been taken down due to Apple telling them to. So these players could possibly be one of the next iPods. Bowers & Wilkins or also know as B&W keep rolling out the speakers, but this speaker looks weird. Introducing the Bowers & Wilkins iPod Zeppelin speaker which come on looks like an airship. There has just been a recent patent application from giants Apple which shows that Cupertino really do care about you as the owner of the iPod. This is all about the technology which would invoke a “guardian” recharge circuit which can in fact disable any further charging if the computer or any other re-charger was paired with was unauthorized. Not going to go into the ins and outs of this patent because you can see it for yourselves below by following the link, but according to Apple this type of limitation would be great and would serve as a deterrent against theft (so watch out thieves it is not worth it). This would obviously be applied to the iPhone and the iPod and probably other handheld rechargeable devices would benefit from it as well.
