the iPhone is quite simply the reason I believed in Apple as a company 18 months ago when I bought shares. As I have mentioned on a number of occasions, it is its telecommunicationally challenged brother the iPod that has been a form of rechargeable sanity for most of my time in China… and that is why when I saw a few posts on the iPhone supply chain I had to write this post. Esto es lo que ha pasado a un tipo al intentar desbloquear un iPhone por hardware, además de quedarse sin y no conseguirlo el telefonillo le mete un susto de muerte explotando en sus narices.Como podéis ver en la imagen el iPhone queda hecho una pocilga, ya sabéis si queréis desbloquerarlo esperar a la aplicación que lo desbloquea por software.Via ? iPhone Atlas

Los chicos de iPhoneUnlocking.com han creado un vídeo para que vea todo el mundo como se desbloquea, antes de que los abogados de AT&T se les tiren encima.El vídeo que vereis se puede desbloquear el iPhone en 6 minutos y utilizar una tarjeta de Vodafone.No se sabe aún si se distribuirá el software, habrá que esperar un rato para ver como acaba todo el proceso legal, aunque McLauhlin pretende decirnos que con este vídeo su sistema es 100 funcional.Via ? The Nokia iPhone was dropped on the world during the launch of the 8 GB Nokia N95 and the N81, if you look at the video clip below you will see what we mean by “direct copy of Apple’s phone”. It looks not only sleek but a direct copy of the Apple iPhone and we are sure the Apple lawyers might also be interested. After watching the video I also noticed that the interface is just like the iPhones, but to add to the fire is what Nokia’s Executive VP (Anssi Vanjoki) said at a Q&A session, “If there is something good in the world then we copy with pride”. That does make sense, but can they really do that? Nokia may be aiming to take the best of the most hyped phone in history (The iPhone) and also improve on the weaknesses like its slow internet connection speeds, locked to one network, poor camera and high price. I recently read that Google has launched an AJAX search platform specifically for the Apple iPhone. The mammoth search company has launched the traditional text based search, and an image search for the iPhone. When thinking this over I thought, “So they want to keep iPhone users using Google? Fair enough.” But as time passed I remembered Alice’s blog post on the GooPhone. In short, the proposed GooPhone handset and service (using VoiP technology) will be free to the public. However, users will be subject to a barrage of advertising (free lunch sold separately). If we boil it down, it may get to the point where the consumer has the option of either buying the glitzy iPhone for an arm and a leg, or using the GooPhone for free but paying for it through the cunning use of ads. Although the iPhone search engine may not be a massive breakthrough for the search giant, it seems to me that the Apple handset may just be a guinea-pig for Google’s mobile search vent

It was presented during Nokia's GoPlay event this morning as a glimpse into the future of Nokia interface design. Oh, and it's due out next year. Rumors about a version 2 iPhone that have been around since May are experiencing a resurgence. Details from an article in DigiTimes talks about the Chinese-language Commercial Times based in Taiwan where a recent report was made about Taiwan-based Wintek getting touch screen panel orders from Apple for its second-generation iPhone. The report claims that this new iPhone will begin shipping in September for around $249 to $299, and that they have already started test production in small batches. Other Chinese-language sources have cited Quanta Computer as a possible manufacturer of the supposed second gen iPhone. Both Quanta and Wintek have declined to comment however. Whether or not there’s truth to the rumor, I’m sure everyone can appreciate a $249 iPhone. One personally hopes that something similar to that is in the works. Grupo de hackers ha logrado eliminar el bloqueo de iPhone mediante un hack de software.Desde el lanzamiento del iPhone al mercado estadounidense, entusiastas de todo el mundo han intentado vulnerar la protección incorporada al teléfono. El bloqueo en cuestión impide usar el aparato con un proveedor de telefonía que no sea AT&T.Los autores del hack han creado un sitio denominado iPhoneSIMfree.com, desde el que planean ofrecer comercialmente el software de desbloqueo.Según Engadget, el hack funciona incluso al reinstalar el sistema operativo del iPhone. Toda la funcionalidad original continúa, y sólo es necesario instalar YouTube. El único elemento que no funciona, claro está, es el buzón de voz de AT&T.Desde el lanzamiento del teléfono de Apple se han registrado numerosos intentos por desbloquear el aparato. Según anuncia el sitio IBLNEWS, en el blog tecnológico Gizmodo se publica que ha logrado "liberar" el iPhone, el teléfono de Apple que en principio sólo se comercializa a través de AT&T. El hacker ha conseguido romper el sistema de protección del iPhone y asegura que funciona con cualquiera de las tres operadoras españolas. El blog sostiene que el teléfono funciona a la perfección con Vodafone, Orange y MoviStar. Para burlar la protección de Apple, este experto ha utilizado una TurBoSIM, una tarjeta SIM que se comercializa en la República Checa y que "engaña" al terminal de modo que cree que sigue operando con AT&T. Como era de esperarse, los problemas surgieron casi de inmediato con esta venta.El precio de salida fue de 540 dólares y las pujas alcanzaban los 2.175 dólares unas horas después de que apareciera en el famoso sitio de internet, donde permanecerá hasta final de mes. El País ha sacado a la calle una cámara, un micrófono dos reporteros y un iPhone, todos juntos se han ido a la calle Preciados de Madrid y han preguntado a cualquiera que pasaba por ahí si conocían lo que es un iPhone.
