| Comcast Is Starting The Tiered Internet.. Whether We Like It or Not 2007-08-22 14:38:00 Comcast is always catching shit from the Online community... This is a pretty bold move though. There arent enough people who do the torrents I dont think for there to be significant change --- but there are other internet options to go with... I encourage anyone who is able to switch to a new service... which are often better. After some quick Google searching I found that Comcast is cutting torrent connections nearly across the board. All across the internet people are complaining about Comcast not letting them seed anymore–and many of these for completely legal material! I know bittorrent is associated with a lot of pirating. Hell, so was ftp and whatever other protocol you want to drop in here. This doesn’t mean that it is *only* used for pirating. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t legit reasons to use the efficient protocol. Apparently Comcast doesn’t see it this way.READ MORE...Be sure to stop by for more later...

| Who Does The Internet Want To See As President? 2007-08-22 11:09:12
We all have our opinion on who we want to see as the next US President, but who is the candidate that the internet is picking to be President?
It looks like Obama is topping the internet popularity contests at the moment with Hilary Clinton hot on his heels. Next up is Ron Paul who, to be honest has become an internet legend, gaining support from internet surfers across the world due to his position that the internet should not be regulated and immediate withdrawal from Iraq.
Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney came next followed by John Edwards.
What I found interesting was that the most searched for term in relation to Hilary Clinton was “cleavage”. Not saying that everyone isn’t taking Clinton seriously as a Presidential candidate or anything but other candidate were getting things like tax and “Iraq war” although Obama did get “anti-Christ” as a related search.
Who do you think the most popular candidate on the interest is?
For me its gotta be Ron Paul all the way.

| “The Who” doesn’t believe in the Internet 2007-08-17 17:12:33 Call them old fashioned, but the founding members of The Who don’t think the Internet is the future of rock, are unhappy about radio’s narrow musical focus, and convinced live music is what it is all about.
I usually lose interest in seeing bands if I have to go to a huge arena and see them. If I catch them while they are still in the clubs that’s cool otherwise I just listen to the records if I like a band that is that popular.

| Elton John Has Issues With the Internet, Who Cares 2007-08-10 05:50:04
Sir Elton John, a very successful singer and songwriter recently suggested in an interview that the whole of the world wide web, the internet should be gotten rid of. Now I don’t know if he’s ever been online on MSN or checked his inbox in Gmail, but he really doesn’t know what he’s missing out on. Yes, the internet is destroying music for the music industry but definitaley not for it’s listeners.
“The Internet has stopped people from going out and being with each other, creating stuff,” wrote John in a bylined story in The Sun.
“We’re talking about things that are going to change the world and change the way people listen to music, and that’s not going to happen with people blogging on the Internet,” said John, who turns 60 this year.
Wow, harsh there Elton. But at the end of the day, getting rid of the internet isn’t going to help you. You’re better off formatting your hard drive to get rid of those pictur |
