Tuesday: Michael Bay decided he didn’t like Paramount’s “No Blu-ray” decision and declared he wouldn’t do Transformers 2 as a result. He recanted a day later with his tail between his legs.
Wednesday: BioShock was released for the XBOX 360 and PC. This definitely looks like it’s going to be a really cool, dark game.
Thursday: Britney Spears just might be moving over to England to hide from her grubby hubby and court decisions over her kids.
Friday: Six new movies came rolling into theaters today. Not that any of them are knock outs, but it should at least keep us busy all weekend.

| Lights Going Out And A Kick In The Balls - That's Entertainment 2007-07-28 19:18:00 Oh vacations are tiring. Coming back and having to deal with Comcast...also tiring. Although I must say they are always on time and always very helpful. Obviously I am back. Be of good cheer, Starrlight is here!The plays were great. Our fellow audience members...interesting.Romeo and Juliet was first up. They actually played a good deal of the lines for laughs which is a rather fresh approach I thought. They did take some liberties with it ala the costumes. The older generation wore traditional Italian Renaissance clothing while the younger generation (Romeo, Juliet, Tybalt, Mercutio et all) were dressed in modern clothing. It worked. And I am a purist. The whole feel was a definite nod to the Baz Luhrmann version and had a few sly references to other versions including a tiny musical moment from Mercutio with the classic fight music from West Side Story. Tuesday: Kim Cattrall has finally come to her financial senses and is ready to move forward on the Sex and the City movie. The movie is rumored to be titled, “The Golden Years” and will focus on the elderly cast’s daily challenges like understanding their new Medicare prescriptions, working on crossword puzzles, and shoo’ing those pesky neighborhood kids from their front porch.
Wednesday: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix broke out to big numbers in theaters. My complete lack of Harry Potter knowledge prevents me from cracking a single joke, so let’s move on.
