As something of a film buff, I've been intrigued by recent developments in high definition programming, beginning with HDTV and now with high-definition content available in the form of DVD media. I collect DVDs for films I know I will watch again and again, and the availability of high-def players and media makes me think twice about buying standard definition DVDs. After all, why buy technology that will soon be obsolete when a superior technology is already available? And yet, I have not yet taken the high-def plunge and am reluctant to do so.We are in the midst of a high-def format war where two incompatible technologies, HD-DVD and Blu-ray, are competing to be the accepted standard to replace DVDs. This has created immense confusion for consumers and is often compared to the VHS vs. Beta debacle some of us recall. Mungkin juga pembaca sekalian pernah mengalami keadaan seperti itu.Mungkin kes pembaca sekalian sekadar calar di CD, tapi bagi kes saya, mengharukan.. Layer cd tersebut tercabut (lihat gambar di sebelah).Terdapat dua cara untuk CD/DVD akan rosak:1. Kerosakan pada "sebelah bacaan CD" (Read side)Ketika anda meletakkan CD ke dalam CD player anda, CD player tersebut akan membaca semua maklumat digital daripada bahagian yang bersinar2 di CD anda. Secara mikronya, semua maklumat sekecil2 daripada kod digital akan dibaca.Oleh itu, jika terdapat sebarang kotoran, habuk dan calar pada cd tersebut, segala proses bacaan pada cd tersebut akan tergendala dan mungkin rosak sepenuhnya.2. Kerosakan pada layer aluminium (pada sebelah label seperti saya di atas.)Hal ini adalah berkaitan dengan kimia sedikit.

The Tangerine Dream offers some retrospective feelings in the beginning but then the good old TGR stuff starts rolling. There is some very challenging backcountry skiing by Jeremy Nobis and others. Jeremy attempts some really hard core skiing in Alaska. The Tangerine Dream offers also skiing in Turkey, India, Alaska, France and Switzerland. Check out the trailer below.
