So yeah, it sucks that the lights have gone out on the set of The Colbert Report for the second straight week, but damn if they couldn’t have timed this any better with the very recent release of The Best Of The Colbert Report on DVD. You’ve got about three hours worth of footage from this fantastic spin-off from The Daily Show with plenty of the clips that have made his show a classic (Jane Fonda making him a pie, Papa Bear O’Reilly, Manilow stealing his Emmy, etc.). Colbert might have gotten stumped in his road to the Whitehouse, but at least you can keep busy with this collection until his show comes back.
