Gowneligee Model: Serafima Vakulenko From a beautifully red wrapped dress which reveals plenty of black see through lace, to a elegant long dress were the mid section has been replaced with a transparent black lace and hip high side slits reveals some more sexy black lace. Is this just the gimmickry of the designer or a viable style? It's hard to say, however, these designs are very eye catching - it definitely hard to turn away from this look. While you were doing your thizzle this past weekend, I sacrificed my time and went to the lab and put in some work. If you look on the right of the site, there's a new feature. In the past, I had been getting some complaints from some of the independent artists that have been on HHR. Their main complaint was that they had a hard time finding their material on the site because after about 7 days, it would go into the archives section. Well, I fixed this by creating a drop down menu (See right side of the page). This feature is cool because it lists all the independent talent that has shined on HHR, plus it gives you easy access to find them on any page. This is just another way of letting you, the fans, have an easier time of finding whose shined on the set. I hope that you dig it. Ed Welburn, GM chief designer As per a Wall Street Journal report, GM is converting an old auditorium in Warren, MI into a design center specifically to be used for designing the Volt and the future E-Flex fleet. If you are not convinced about GMs dedication to the Volt so far, this is another proof to my eye. Bob Lutz indicated that GM is indeed planning to proliferate the E-Flex concept accross a wide range of brands. As per GM chief designer Ed Welburn, the E-Flex design team already consists of 24 members who are already working together, and will use this new space to “accelerate their work”. Mr. Welburn is quoted as saying, “This is a very fast-moving project, and to get it done, you need a dedicated team.” Specifically, the team is “fine-tuning the exterior design of the Volt and working on an interior for the car”, and is working on “future projects beyond the Volt”.

The Giants and the Jets have uncovered the first stadium to be jointly owned by two NFL teams and the plan is to make two competing teams feel at home in a $1.3 billion stadium The stadium is located on a 40-acre tract and has got five parking lots between the existing stadium and the racetrack this eight-story; open-air stadium will be the first in the league to house two franchises. The stadium has been financed by a 50-50 joint venture of the teams and about $300 million in state funds. Steve Tisch who is the chairman and executive vice president of the New York Giants has said that “Ensuring that the stadium would feel like home to both teams and both groups of fans was our goal and also one of the biggest challenges in the design of the stadium and to do that, the stadium will feature an eight-story mega display, called the “Great Wall, with 400-foot-long by 40-foot-high panels featuring either team’s logo or neutral colours for non-football events.” The yet u

Apparently Toyota VP Kazuo Okamoto gave a presentation on September 3rd in which he declared that Toyotas approach of improving battery back range and adding plug-in to the conventional parallel hybrid design was superior to GMs series hybrid design (Chevy Volt) This was apparently stated in the context of a presentation to investors and is reported on the Green Car Congress website. The whole presentation is here. There is no clear rationale behind this statement. It is obvious though that the reason Toyota thinks that the Volt approach is inferior, is that they didnt think of it first! Clearly Toyota is in a catch-up spot, and they are among other things, trying to reassure investors. In the graphic above, that’s the Volt on the left.

It is interesting to note that the first hybrid cars strove to appear different, so much so that the Honda Insight is discontinued, and the original Prius modelling was later changed. Drivers, it is determined by automakers, want others to notice that they are driving fuel-efficient cars. In the present day, the unique but not radical appearance of the Prius has become synonymous with hybrid. Other models, that carry a hybrid badge only have not fared as well (Accord Hybrid). A new report about this discussion was published today in the Boston Globe. GMs latest hybrids such as the VUE greenline comes in green with a large badge. The Volt, is meant to be differnent. Not frumpy, but camaro-esque, and bold-grilled, with its unique glass dropped into the doors and windows up high. There is talk about a secret new Toyota hy
