| Will Facebook end blogging as we know it today? 2007-09-28 00:53:00 The more time I spend on Facebook, the less time I spend blogging, working, chatting. It is very addictive.I've trout-slapped, dry-humped and thrown animals at my Facebook friends. I suppose it makes sense to Generation Y. 'Cause it doesn't to me. But it's still fun.I suppose Facebook is addictive simply because an IT-dunce like me can easily customise my profile. I could add all sorts of applications that interest me e.g. music, youtube videos and even my own stripper name. Apparently my stripper name is Jasmine Dazzlehiney. Tell you to truth, I'm a little disappointed with that. I expected more she-bang from my stripper name. Oh well. And best of all Facebook is super interactive. I've scribbled heaps on friend's walls, fed my friends' e-pets and sent virtual gifts. So I suppose "blogging" on Facebook is now the most obvious revolution to blogging on traditional platforms such as Blogger. I don't know the answer to that. But when you find the answer, you'll know where to fin |
| Stop Blog Abuse - Blogcatalog Blogging For A Great Cause Challenge 2007-09-27 05:05:00 When we think of abuse, the first thing that comes to mind usually are the abuses made to living creatures but the reality is most abuses are done to non-living things. Take the internet for example or your mobile phone or your laptop. I'm pretty sure, you can think of several ways to abuse them. Generally speaking, any form of abuse be it physical, social, mental or emotional is not good.Blogs, over the past years since it has been introduced has increasingly become one of the targets of today's abuse. Like any other non-living things, blogs don't complain. Blogs can't censor what a blogger writes on it. Blogs can't choose a blogger of their choice. And blogs can't go to the authority, and report instances when they're being abused or used to abuse.Today's post is my contribution to the Blogcatalog Blogging For A Great Cause Challenge. Since Blogging Mix is all about blogs, bloggers and blogging, I thought it's probably ideal to create a post about the abuses made by bloggers |
| Branding to Blogging 2007-09-26 00:57:00 I came across Branding Blog some weeks ago; when I first reviewed branding services provided by Brand Identity Guru. In addition to reading about Scott White and what’s This Blog About page, I have learnt a lot since then.Scott White – the face behind Branding Blog - started the business as a graphic design firm, elevated it to a marketing communications company in the 90’s and made the full transformation to branding in 1997. After going through almost every field relating to branding and Internet marketing in the past years, branding guru Scott White now looks at the “good, bad and the ugly of branding” and shares his real life findings on his blog. Which is why Scott White’s writings are not just explanations of different aspects of branding but also give insight in to ‘hows’ ‘whys’ as wellBlogging phenomenon has matured over time and is already being used as one of the best marketing and reaching out tools. Savvy businesses are already employing blogging purpose |

| blogging fame and a Portuguese ancestry or not 2007-09-21 06:52:37 Friday 21
Bloggers run the risk of becoming rent-a-quoters with varying degrees of clout. Me inc. Yet I do strive to write only about topics that affect my spiritual journey (ie mindset) in some way. Take the Portuguese, for instance.

| Blogging the fast 2007-09-18 15:54:35 My friend Shahed Amanullah, the editor of altmuslim.com, is blogging his reflections on Ramadan throughout the month of the fast. The blog, titled “Hungry for Ramadan”, offers a reflection each day, often focusing on the question of how Ramadan can be a time to introduce non-Muslims to Islam and to build bridges to other communities. His reflections this year include a post on the unhappy confluence of Ramadan and the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and on the lucky coincidence of Rosh Hashonah, Yom Kippur and Ramadan, which happens once every 33 years and will feature Jews and Muslims around the world sharing a fast on Yom Kippur this Saturday.

| The Frogcam (My Real-Time Nekkid Blogging Voyeur Webcam) 2007-09-13 00:29:25 Went out with my good pal who I’ll call Amy the other night. She said she had to remove herself from a couple of internet dating sites because her email was getting cluttered with videos from men who wanted to met her. Men who wanted to meet her, um, performing, as it were. Performing acts. Acts on themselves. Look, I don’t want to have to draw you a picture. We got to talking and wondered what good a webcam would be except for bedroom recreational activities.
Then, like a bolt of lightning from the right hand of Zeus himself, it hit me.
Blogging! What could be more exciting than watching someone blog? The answer is, of course, not a darned thing! What else could compare with that kind of non-stop veritable thrill-o-rama? Then, like a second bolt of lightning from Zeus’ left hand, it hit me again, though not as hard, because Zeus is a righty. Nekkid blogging! | Breederboy on Blogging… 2007-09-10 17:03:40
Two more people introduced themselves to me over the weekend at Villa Mansland. They identified themselves as readers of the blog.
It’s always great to hear some of the stories from readers who actually introduce themselves..
One long-term reader told me he appreciates hearing about his beloved Prague whilst he’s at home in the UK and that he reads the blog every morning… “It’s like getting a letter from Prague every day” he explained during his last visit. So many many nice people reading every day, it truly makes it all worthwhile.
Of course, there are some who are not so nice. I like to think it isn’t just the blog that brings out the worst in them, but that they are probably pretty unpleasant characters in the rest of their lives generally.
Unfortunately, as with most things in life, you remember most the highs and lows.. You tend to forget the majority in between. You remember the incredibly nice people and also the assholes.
