| Call Center Agents Can Earn More By Blogging 2007-10-15 19:04:00 In my last "call center" job, there was a guy newbie who I got to talk with casually and began to get to know him. As he was telling me stories on how he got the job, I became curious as he came about knowing the job opening. He casually said he found a thread by a "call center blogger" who had a forum thread in Pinoyexchange. I immediately knew he was referring to me! Haha! But as I still wished to remain anonymous, I didn't admit it to him yet. But I felt so happy he found the job through me... It's just another day in the office for CallCenterVet!Tomorrow came and there was no escape this guy because we needed to work with each other. As we took our breaks together, he again brought the same topics on how he was thankful to the blogger who referred him because he couldn't be luckier to get another job with a higher paying salary. When I finally can't hold my tongue anymore, I admitted to him that I was the blogger who referred him here and began revealing stuff to prove to him t |
| Smorty! The best website to earn while blogging 2007-10-15 13:17:00 Most bloggers are so dedicated they put their minds and hearts into what they post. But let's face it; most of us need support on what we do to keep us going. I've always been trying to find ways I can receive something to support this future great blog of mine and I indeed found some few that offered enticing prospects like selling this and that or affiliate marketing where you can offer your readers to join a program and you would get a referral reward after. But no offer is as easy to do as getting paid for blogging! Thousands of bloggers have joined in the program and blog for money. Which is not as bad as some puritan bloggers may think. After all, we all need to eat right? For beginner bloggers it is a way to support their hobby and a little motivation goes a long way. Blog advertising is all over the blogosphere because everybody needs it. Bloggers need support and companies need to advertise on blogs to increase their buzz. It's a symbiosis!I recently hunted for some sites w |

| Phoenix vs. Denver: A Real Estate Blogging Wager 2007-10-10 16:02:02 Thursday, the National League Championship Series begins between the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona Diamondbacks. I’m a reasonably big DBacks fan, and I wanted to demonstrate my loyalty with a simple, but meaningful wager over the outcome of the series. Normally, a lunch bet would suffice, but in this case I wanted the wager to be with a Denver Area Blogger, which would make buying the other person lunch a bit expensive (what with the flight over, car rental, etc.).
So, how to make a meaningful wager with a real estate blogger in Denver? And then it came to me: Guest contributor! With the help of Jay Thompson, Steve Scheer of the Real Estate in Denver and the Suburbs blog was found, and we agreed to a fun wager: The loser is obligated to 3 posts on the winners blog as a guest contributor. The first post must be about how great the winning team is. Another post will talk about the winning city. And the third post is open to the topic of the loser’s choi |

But there are few basic rule to prepare a blog where from one can earn money,if you are not well aware of those requirements you will not be able to earn money from your blog ,or may not reach your satisfaction level. The very first things a blogger must concentrate on to gain 1> Good pagerank as more as possible from pr 1 to 10 ,I recommend you should get at least pr 3,so that you can make a good amount of money. 2>A good alexa rank .that is less than 100000 at least ,the less is the better for your earning potentials. 3>Technorati rank--the better the rank is,better for you to earn 4>The more pages indexed by yahoo is the better 5>The number of visitors your blog get 6>How much interactive your visitors are, that means how much comments you get. 7>The number of posts you make ,I recommen |

| Blogging the Newsletter 2007-10-03 09:39:19 Today’s newsletter marked the release of the final installment of our 10 week long series on Social Media, and with that statement I breathe a huge sigh of relief it’s been a pretty tough series to write (what with there being so much to say and all).
This week we looked at blogging: what it is, how to get started and how to ensure a blog’s success. If you haven’t signed up for the newsletter you can check it out here.
Sarah (other Sarah) also featured some very interesting articles which included a look at how to market to media-savvy teens without driving them away and some tips on how to boost your blogger profile.
In the next edition we’ll have something very special for our South African marketers and after that we’ll be launching our second “How To” series: How To Build Good Websites – keep an eye out for it or sign up to receive our newsletter.

| Home Stage & Blogging… Reflecting Opportunities in Real Estate Marketing 2007-10-02 12:50:00 For a little over a year now I have been writing about home staging here in this blog. I have to admit I have been fortunate in raising my staging voice up in an ever expanding world of real estate blogging. I believe part of the reason for my blogging success is due to the fact that the approach I take to blogging reflects the approach I take to staging.
When it comes to staging and selling a home it is no secret that good curb appeal is desirable. If a buyer doesn’t like what they see, there is a good chance they will just move on. Well the same goes for a blog. I consider a blog’s headline its initial curb appeal. Headlines should be interesting and captivating so that your reader wants to stop in and read on.
When touring a home, which is for sale, a second critical moment takes place the instant the buyer opens the door and sees the interior of a home for the first time. What a buyer sees in this moment better be a visually appealing. For just as it is important t |
| Downloadable guide to Conference Blogging 2007-10-01 23:21:41 Blogging is more fun when it’s a team sport. That’s certainly been true for Global Voices, and it’s at least as true when I get to blog at conferences. TED Africa was such a blast in no small part because I got to experience the event with so many blogger friends from across the continent and around the world. I have high hopes that Pop!Tech, which will feature several bloggers writing in their native language this year, will have some similar cameraderie.
My favorite blogging partner is the remarkable Bruno Giussani, whose Lunch Over IP blog should be required reading for anyone who finds this blog helpful. Bruno and I have traded notes for some years about the art and science of conference blogging, each learning from the other’s expertise. When I posted my accumulated notes on blogging a conference, Bruno responded with a comment thread, then a post of his own.
