The iPhone is the recent (3Q, 2007) greatest Apple creation. It is a multimedia computer, but not one to to compete Nokia N95 or similar devices. This is a device that can be appreciate by the Apple/ipod lovers/users. Although iPhone features a striking hardware design, the software personality is complex and still easy to use. The iPhone is now out and promises to revolutionize the way we use our phones forever. You don’t have to love it; you don’t even have to like it. You will, however, be witness to a great upheaval in the mobile communications business because of it.

The Voyager, made by LG Electronics, trumps the iPhone by offering faster wireless Web access. But in a nod to the Apple device, which is only available to AT&T subscribers, it has a large touch screen and full Web browser.
Verizon Wireless hopes the new phone will attract customers put off by the iPhone’s lack of a traditional keypad — the Voyager hinges open to reveal a small computer keypad and a second screen.

Americans have the ability to fuck over a company if it fucks them over...A New Yorker who waited for hours to be one of the first to buy an iPhone is now suing Apple, says Apple Insider. Dongmei Li of Queens is accusing Apple of various sins such as "price discrimination, underselling, discrimination in rebates, deceptive actions, and other wrongdoings." Li purchased a 4GB model of the iPhone and now is upset that she can no longer resell her purchase for the same profit that someone who bought one after the price drop. She's also upset that her phone has already been discontinued. The $100 store credit offer didn't placate Li because she thought it was unfair that Apple gave full $200 refunds to those customers who purchased their phones within the two-week return window. But thinking of the people who are starving, this doesn't look appealing. Had it been the case like, at the end of the day these apples are distributed to the needy as in the case of Can Sculptures , where once the competition is over, the food cans are then donated to food banks, the homeless and so on to feed the hungry people. But here these apples will most probably get rotten & end in dumpsters. Second Pri | | Is Apple in danger of losing its following? 2007-09-25 12:38:00 I think the fad is fading... Glad I never bit into that 'apple'... Not to insult it, or them, but I just have never been a fan. When the iPhone first hit store shelves, Apple was on top of the world. Not only did the company enjoy the biggest product release of the year, its stock price was on the rise, Mac sales were soaring and, for the first time, it looked like Apple might be able to supplant Dell and HP as the proven leader in the hardware business. But just a few months later, it's amazing how quickly things have changed. Mac sales are still strong, but the iPhone has become the topic of heated debate, Apple has come under fire for dropping the iPhone price too early and too substantially, and its iTunes Store is under attack from content producers and new, formidable competitors.Be sure to stop by for more later...
