A Few Beers (NSFW)?
2007-07-24 10:29:00
A Few Beers (NSFW)?Can this be a classic example of what may happen after a few beers & if fireworks were around? Instead of a bottle this guy used the other guy's bottom to hold the rocket. So what do you think happens once it's lit? This can be a sheer example of stupidity. In this photo this guy has provided the perfect posture for making the rocket stand using his bottom. In this photo you can see the rocket is lit.Now comes the realization & this guy starts feeling the heat of what they have been upto.End result? Can't sit on bottom for quite some time.SourceOther Posts: Creative Ads: Life Is Too Short For Wrong JobsWeird Designer ShoesJeans With A Built In G-Stringca-pub-6006325771531878 ...

Cool Looking Cats
2007-07-24 10:17:00
Cool Looking CatsAll these cuties got a lion cut - that's where they shave the body but leave the ruff, arms, legs, and part of the tail fluffy. Though it's supposed to be more comfortable for Persian cats during the summer, & it does prevent some shedding around the house. You can also go for this look for your cat:"If your cat is prone to mats or refuses to be brushed at home, then your groomer is your best defense. Many cats think the brush is a toy, which can be a problem for long-haired breeds Therefore, your groomer may shave (yes - SHAVE) your cat into lion-cut. Actually, the groomer uses clippers, but it sure looks like a shaved cat when you get it back. As long as your groomer leaves a puff on the tip of the tail, your cat usually won't mind too much. The lion-cut leaves tufts on the feet, tip of the tail and stops just under the chin, which leaves a ruff similar to that of a lion's. The face is not touched. Clippers or trimmers are best for this job. Note that around the ...

Cute Pictures Of Babies Swimming
2007-07-24 09:53:00
Cute Pictures Of Babies SwimmingHere are some very cute pictures of babies swimming. No doubt any parent will get a smile seeing them swim. And if you do wish to take your baby in water along with you, then do read the following carefully. Most Health Visitors recommend the following: "waiting until after your baby has had their first course of immunizations (8 weeks) although Government guidelines suggest swimming in public pools does not pose a risk to younger babies as the chlorine kills off any potential threat, most obviously from polio. As long as the pool is warm enough it's ok to take a baby of any age swimming. Do remember though, mums should not swim until after their 6 week check. Most pools will not take babies unless they have had their first 3 courses of immunizations (12 weeks old)."When is it safe to bring my child to a pool or lake?"You may want to wait to go to a pool or lake with your child until he can hold his head up on his own (usually by 4 or 5 months). If your ...

Fantastic Pencil Sculptures
2007-07-23 04:25:00
Fantastic Pencil SculpturesAuroraAsteridayHeat WaveLunaMaterializeOzmaSilkieTerspichoreTiamatAccording to Jennifer Maestre, her sculptures were originally inspired by the form and function of the sea urchin. The spines of the urchin, so dangerous yet beautiful, serve as an explicit warning against contact. The alluring texture of the spines draws the touch in spite of the possible consequences. The tension unveiled, we feel push and pull, desire and repulsion. The sections of pencils present aspects of sharp and smooth for two very different textural and aesthetic experiences. Paradox and surprise are integral in her choice of materials. Quantities of industrially manufactured objects are used to create flexible forms reminiscent of the organic shapes of animals and nature. Pencils are common objects; here these anonymous objects become the structure. There is truly a fragility to the sometimes brutal aspect of the sculptures, vulnerability that is belied by the fearsome texture. To ma ...

Mud Painting
2007-07-19 12:22:00
Mud PaintingThis is the amazing creation of artist Henry Neubig. He used mud as his medium for painting."This Baton Rouge artist takes the word "dirty" literally in his new art form.Neubig paints with Louisiana mud.'I was looking for something natural to use as a medium, and I wanted to stay with basic raw materials," he says.In developing his new art form, Neubig decided to stick with natural elements and refuses to use commercial products.A medium was necessary to bind the clay pigments into a permanent paint, and after abandoning false starts in acrylic and oil, he turned to egg yolks. "Louisiana eggs, naturally," he says.Neubig says his experiments have resulted in a new natural paint: clay, egg yolk and his secret ingredient-water."Source: MudpaintingRelated Post: Dirt Car ArtMicroscopic Art Fictional Surreal Art By Jacek YerkaStone Art Coffee Artca-pub-6006325771531878 ...

The Hulk Cow
2007-07-19 12:08:00
The Hulk CowEarlier we had Big Wendy, The Muscular Super Dog . This time meet 'The Hulk Cow: Belgian Blue Cattle' which are famous for their "double muscling" due to a gene that suppresses the production of Myostatin."These cattle originated in central and upper Belgium and they, at one time, accounted for nearly half of the cattle in the national herd. Results of studies conducted in Belgium show that the carcass characteristics of the Belgian Blue were expressed in the crossbreds whose commercial value was then substantially increased. The observation explains the growing interest for the Belgian Blue breed as a terminal sire, its carcass composition and it's growth potential."Myostatin (formerly known as Growth differentiation factor 8) is a growth factor that limits muscle tissue growth, i.e. higher concentrations of myostatin in the body may cause the individual to have less developed muscles. The myostatin protein is produced primarily in skeletal muscle cells, circulates in th ...

These are funny looking Japanese melons shaped like faces, hearts, cubic & pyramids."Watermelons in interesting shapes all started with a cubic watermelon that a farmer in the Kagawa prefecture grew about 20 years ago.
