Notes from the Surf V
2007-07-08 22:10:20
My regular readers will notice I switched Wordpress themes. The consensus around the house today was that Darkwater is easier on the eyes; plus I think the background fits in with Surfing the Tao quite nicely. Any opinions, comments or issues, please let me know.
Great audio clip of Bill Hicks on the Elite who govern our world from behind the scenes. On that note, Aftermath News has an interesting article about the Live Earth concerts and a possible manipulation of our good intentions from David de Rothschild.
More on the possibility that at least some cancers could be the result of a nutritional deficiency. Awhile back I suggested we all start eating our apple seeds to be sure we get enough “Vitamin B17″; lately I’ve heard talk about Vitamin D being more helpful than previously thought - both against cancer and possibly also autism. This nutrient is most readily absorbed from the sun through the skin, but note that most sunscreens block this process. The ...

Eso-researchers may be aware of the so-called ?Master Numbers? ? 11, 22, 33, etc. Certain numbers, sets of numbers and dates have special meaning to occultists, astrologers and numerologists. 9/11 was full of such synchronicities. Many also attribute symbolic significance to the terrorist attack in London on July 7, 2005 - which incidentally killed 52 people and injured 700. Remember, numerology adds digits together to find a single digit outcome, except in the case of the Master Numbers. Thus July 25 would also be a 7-7-7 this year, and that is the date of the day out of time for those who know about the 13 moon calendar. July 7 is the 188th day of the year, with 177 days remaining.
On July 7 in history, the Battle of Hubbardton began in Vermont in 1777. United States begins its first military draft in 1863. President William McKinley annexed Hawaii as a territory in 1898. Construction commenced on the Hoover Dam on this date in 1930. In Roswell, New Mexico i ...

The Constitution of the United States of America
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Here sir, the people govern.
Alexander Hamilton, speech to the New York Ratifying Convention, June 17, 1788
Fear is the foundation of most governments; but it is so sordid and brutal a passion, and renders men in whose breasts it predominates so stupid and miserable, that Americans will not be likely to approve of any p ...

Crying Wolf: Non-Predictions for the Future
2007-07-03 15:55:45
Prophecy is a difficult subject for me, not because I think it?s not possible, but simply because there are so many false voices out there that a lot of disinformation and propaganda gets let in through the open doors. I mean, how many times have people set a date for the end of the world in the past? Don?t get me started on that one.
On the other hand, I do believe many people will be able to determine without much difficulty some of the likely events that are to come. It doesn?t take a psychic to see there will probably be another really big, terrible ?terrorist? attack sometime in the near future. All you have to do is read the news.
It?s also pretty clear we are being groomed for world government. Right now, fear is being used to great advantage towards that goal. However, and unfortunately, so is love and what people see as ?doing the right thing?. For example, some believe environmental issues are one way to manipulate us into accepting world government. I mentioned ...

Not sure how I got here, but note the purple ?laser? symbol. It led me to read more about the Airborne laser.
The real Death Star?
What?s with all the flawed products coming out of China? Toothpaste, seafood, pet food, toys, tires, juice and many other things?China does manufacture so much of what we use every day; some believe we should be more concerned about what China is up to?
I love it when science studies things like meditation.
I also love it when mainstream media tackles alternative issues like the Apocalypse.
Victoria Hardy has a lot of interesting things to say, including this article about Project Blue Beam.
July 17 is Fire the Grid day. At exactly 11:11 GMT people around the world plan to join together and think good thoughts. I?m always glad to hear of such ideas, but a little suspicious why these ?light beings? (see ?The Plan?) have requested such a specific moment in time.

It?s All Good
2007-06-29 03:48:37
If you spend time investigating any of the strange and even disturbing elements of our present global reality, it?s easy to become disheartened or even anxious or desperate. It?s not uncommon to feel this way and if you have, you?re not alone. I spend a lot of time sifting through quite a bit of difficult material every day, and I still have moments when the potential future hits me so hard I lose my breath. As I gather information for a post, sometimes I have to close my laptop and go do something else for awhile. It can be overwhelming, no matter how many years one has been awake. Who hasn?t thought about going back and taking the blue pill? The red one can be bitter and acrid indeed.
I was listening to one of the alternative radio talk show hosts the other day, and he and his guest were discussing how some young people, though fully aware of the coming ?new order? and all its controversial agendas and organizations, agree to join the powers-that-be rather than be on what they ...

Deep Integration: the coming North American Union
2007-06-25 21:25:40
From The Plan to Disappear Canada by Murray Dobbin, ?If the machinations going on in this country regarding so-called “deep integration” were instead a communist conspiracy to take over the country (you will, of course, have to try hard to imagine this) the news media would be blaring the story.
Pundits would pontificate, editorialists would erupt, security forces would be unleashed.
Instead, a virtual conspiracy to make the country disappear through assimilation into the U.S. gets barely a mention.
But news of the scheme — formally called the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) — is finally breaking out of the secret chambers of the ruling elite and the federal government. This is both good news and bad. It’s good that ordinary citizens are finally getting a glimpse of the betrayal of their country. The news is bad because it reflects just how much of this scheme is already being implemented. ?
Mr. Dobbin goes on to summarize ...

National Study on the Internet: Passing on a request from a researcher at Stony Brook University in New York, who is doing a study about how people process information they encounter on the Internet. It takes about 10 minutes to complete the survey, and you can choose to enter a raffle for a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com (also you may opt to remain completely anonymous, no email or anything).
For those of you who read my book and remember my analogy about the Mirror Image of the truth, this article about the US Department of Defense developing a Psyops program that will create a parallel Planet Earth, an actual alternative reality, will give you pause.
Seeing a large meteor streaking across the sky, and even hearing the accompanying sonic boom, is a rare experience; the past couple of weeks two notable sightings have been recorded, one in Idaho and the other in Sri Lanka.
A few weeks ago NASA released a few photographs from the Hubble telescope of two large asteroids ...

Kilauea Volcano Update
2007-06-22 23:14:58
A few days ago the area surrounding our volcano here on the Big Island, Kilauea, experienced a sudden and unusual flurry of small earthquakes. Yesterday our local newspaper, West Hawaii Today, reported on the front page that the lava had actually stopped flowing out of the Pu?u O?o vent. This is noteworthy because it has been erupting constantly since 1983; Kilauea is considered to be one of the most active volcanoes on earth. New fissures have appeared in the past day or two, and some rare plants and animals are in danger in some areas. However this startling change is good news for our leeward side of the island (except of course for some disappointed tourists): without the ensuing vog, our skies will be clearer and cleaner than they have been for 25 years, at least for a little while.
Several other volcanoes have been active the past week or so as well. In New Guinea, explosions from Rabaul rocked the surrounding areas as ash plumes rose 8900 feet. In Ecuador, both Tungurahu ...

Antarctica: The Secret Land
2007-06-10 17:10:56
Antarctica is truly the last frontier. Its distance and inaccessibility easily lend itself to speculation and rumor. Beginning with enigmatic ancient maps, which some believe show the southern continent as it looks without ice and snow, its existence has remained shrouded in mystery as well as ice. Many theorize Atlantis is to be found there; Internet rumors claim there are satellite images which reveal an anomaly beneath the ice, replete with the concentric circles Plato wrote about, though I couldn?t find them. Not surprising; such a find would rock the scientific world in terms of the age of civilization. Some alternative researchers however do suggest that Antarctica used to lie in tropical regions before the last pole shift, and was the site of a flourishing ancient society.
Searches for ?Antarctica anomaly? yielded a work of fiction some claim could be a disinformation campaign for what scientists have really discovered down there. Another involves Lake Vostok, the ?largest ...

Supernatural Hawaii
2007-06-07 18:02:23
[Inspired by Aura at Encounters with the Unexplained]
Hawaii is a gorgeous place to live, most would agree. The weather is unbeatable, the people are full of aloha and the beach is always close by. I suppose some might say it has its downsides too ? things tend to be more expensive, and it always takes longer to get things done because most people would rather be playing than working.
Whether Hawaii?s legendary creepiness is a downside or not depends on your point of view, but unless you live here you might not be aware of all the strangeness that goes on ? and the blithe, casual way people live with the phenomena. It?s just part of life here, given the diversity of cultural influences regarding the spirit world and its pervasiveness in everyday existence.
The first experience I had was talking to the rocks. It might sound strange but since then I?ve heard such stories from many, many people here. Pele, the volcano goddess, has created a virtual army of bizarre lava rock formation ...

Wordpress users may know what I?m talking about when I say it?s always thrilling to find a great plugin. Here?s to Sean over at Geek with Laptop for making my Archives dream come true.
It turns out that the father-in-law of the man infected with a treatment-resistant strain of TB who got on an airplane last month happens to be a tuberculosis specialist at the CDC. Coincidence?
In my recent post about a Cosmic Perturber I mentioned the work of researcher Burak Eldem, who believes the cycle for Nibiru is 3661 years (and that it?s coming around again in 2012). That number also surfaced as the approximate age of a ghost forest in Oregon. Weird, right?
Do you know about Cruithne, an asteroid in a bizarre horseshoe-shaped orbit around our sun, also sometimes referred to as ?Earth?s second moon??
May I just note the irony that Russian President Vladimir Putin ?obliquely? compared US foreign policy to the Third Reich in a speech last month? Now there are even rumors of a new Co ...

On Love and Letting Go

?Striving to increase awareness of our spiritual natures as well as the news, technologies and agendas which influence them.?
Well it?s obvious there is quite enough material to keep us busy on the ?news, technologies and agendas? part of that mission statement. It?s the ?increasing awareness of our spiritual natures? part that can be challenging, though it really is far more important. We often cannot control our circumstances; only how we react to them.
I?m not going to preach, because truthfully every person has their own Walk, and goes at different rates. Not everyone is ready to live completely in faith ? though I can tell you for my own part, right now my own circumstances would have me feel like I am walking across the Abyss supported only by a warm breath of air. It might seem like I?m in danger, but for some reason I never fall in. By now I recognize the feeling, and the chasm itself, for what it is, and the Walk has gotten easier. Not easy ? just easier.
I?ve had eight ...

?or remark-able items from my own Surfing the Tao journey
May 25th was Universal Day of the Jedi, and it was a big one this year, 30 years since the first Star Wars movie came out! True geeks might know that May 25 is also Towel Day?that?s towel as is The Number 42, not Towelie?don?t forget your towel?
This article about a disruptive bee swarm, and then this one about a swarm actually forcing a plane to land recently, made me wonder for a moment about what is really going on with the bees; what if it were all part of some kind of bizarre ?bee revolt? ? or worse, an attempt to warn us about something!
This month is a Blue Moon ? in most places; see what I mean here. More interesting Moon thoughts. Cool, short video of Comet McNaught seen in Australia earlier this year. The Economist recently published an article about the Earth?s approaching magnetic pole reversal. A star is about to go s ...

Cosmic Perturber?
2007-05-25 00:46:38
Does our sun have a sister star? In his 2005 book Lost Star of Myth and Time, author and amateur archaeo-astronomer Walter Cruttenden pushed the envelope of accepted astronomy when he theorized that our own Earth is part of a binary star system. Cruttenden?s video based on that book, The Great Year, narrated by James Earl Jones, is an excellent summation of this theory. As Executive Director of the Binary Research Institute, Cruttenden continues to research ?evidence of astronomical cycles of time known to cultures throughout the ancient world. It is Cruttenden?s belief that the myth and stories depicting a repeating cycle of Golden Ages and Dark Ages may have a basis in fact, due to the alternating stellar forces that affect Earth as our solar system moves in a 24,000-year binary (dual star) orbit.?
The Great Year references the 24,000-26,000 year cycle of time during which our solar system completes its precession through the equinoxes. Generally considered to be more important ...
