Wish you could get on a bus and ride to work instead of driving and continuing to pay high gas prices? If you're wanting an easier commute from Carmel, IN to Downtown Indianapolis, soon enough your travels may become a little less problematic.Beginning soon, Carmel will have an express bus service to downtown Indianapolis. This service is being offered to give Carmel residents who commute downtown another transportation option. IndyGo is coordinating the service but has contracted with a motor coach bus company to provide the buses. This will mean a higher quality motor coach bus for the express service rather than the typical public transportation bus. The downtown loop will include six stops near major downtown employers.
