Hello again everyone. I am not at home or near a computer but I figured people wanted to know my prediction for gas prices tomorrow in Nova Scotia. I will provide a better report this evening but at this time it looks like another increase. I am predicting another 1-2 cent increase province wide.Might want to consider topping off the tank this evening. "Make Criminals of Innocent People"

On May 15th, Premier Rodney MacDonald stated he is planning to make strike actions by essential services (such as the IWK) illegal. During a meeting with the Halifax Daily News, Joan Jessome and Janet Hazelton (heads of the Nova Scotia Government Employees Union) stated they have a resolution for that. They will strike."At the end of the day, they are going to make criminals of innocent people who don't want to go against any type of law. We don't want to strike, but we don't want to loose our rights. "Actually the people who would be responsible for turning the employees in to criminals would be the NSGEU. They are the ones who would recommend that these people knowingly break the law that disallows strike actions. Joan Jessome and Janet Hazelton are making an early move to gain support for when their group decides to take illegal actions so they have the right to do it again in the future.A union is brought in to negotiate fair compensation for the employees, however far too often ...

Atlantic Accord Email Campaign

We all have our opinions on the Atlantic Accord but to this date we are still unsure about the federal reasoning behind abandoning it. We have asked Peter MacKay to appear and explain their position but he refused. I have personally written the office of Stephan Harper on many occasions with no response. A federal government which refuses to justify their position on an issue affecting so many people is very scary which is why I am starting up an email campaign.No matter what you stance on the Atlantic Accord, I want you to email the Prime Ministers office using the following email address: pm@pm.gc.ca.
