Edwards & Obama Unwilling To Hit HIllary Where It Hurts; Rudy v. Hillary?
2007-09-28 16:40:00
If this week's Democrat debate should tell us anything, it is that Hillary Clinton all but has this nomination wrapped up. While there were some fireworks in the debate, they mostly involved exchanged between Hillary Clinton and Tim Russet. By the way, I am astonished Hillary allowed Russert to have his testicles - he actually asked some tough questions. None of the Democrat candidates showed any attempt to really attack Hillary on her vulnerable issues. Since none of the top competitors could commit to taking troops out of Iraq, they can't now attack her from the Left on that issue.Furthermore, Hillary has wide gaping holes when it comes to campaign finance and shady donors. Nevertheless, none of the candidates are willing to go down that path. It's not even important to ask why, but they don't seem to realized that they have no chance of winning this nomination unless they do. Instead, they are hoping that she seriously blows it.I see no way she can lose this nomination. Even if ...

MSNBC, CNN, Moveon.org, MediaMatters Coordinating False Attacks On Conservative Media
2007-09-28 16:11:00
The last few days have seen what can be considered nothing other then a coordinated effort by the gals over at PMSNBC and the Clinton News Network to attack Fox News, Bill O'Reilly et al. This is a serious and concerted effort to silence and discredit conservative opinion makers. These people care not for the facts, or who they are harming, so long as they achieve their goal. It does not matter that facts and reality do not back up their story. One CNN commentator went so far as to call NPR's Juan Williams a "negro" and "Bill O'Reilly's Puppet." Now anyone who has seen Juan Williams commentary would know just how far from the truth this is. I guess stating the fact that "40% of black children our born without a father" makes him a Right-Winged fascist. With Media Matters, Moveon.org, MSNBC, CNN and the Democrat Party working in concert with one another, this smear campaign just may work. It is difficult for conservatives to respond because there is simply no such apparatus to respon ...

MSM’s Baseless Smear of Bill O’Reilly: Why Republicans Refuse to Debate in front of Minority Audiences
2007-09-28 15:57:00
The mainstream media, after defaming Bill O’Reilly for attempting to dispel racial stereotypes, is dumbfounded why Republicans skipped the recent Republican debate. The truth is that whenever any white person attempts to speak honestly about race, they are dragged through the mud as a racist. With the exception of Bernard Goldberg, few have been able to do so as eloquently. I digress.Any person who heard the Bill O’Reilly radio conversation with Juan Williams, in context, learned very quickly that the MSM deliberately tried to defame Bill O’Reilly without justification. Then when Juan Williams came to O’Reilly’s defense, CNN shielded themselves behind liberal black activists who in tern attacked Juan Williams. It was beyond deplorable because Bill O’Reilly and Juan Williams were making headway with discussions of racism and stereotypes in America. Sadly, liberals in the MSM attempted to set back any progress that was made.In truth, white Americans are scared to death to spe ...

Democrats Still Fawn Over Bill Clinton's Style, But Ignore His Winning Policies
2007-09-27 16:00:00
For those people who are just bellyaching for record government spending and massive tax increases, then last night's democrat debate certainly gave you a lot of red meat.In 1992, Bill Clinton ran for President not only accepting the era of globalization, but he embraced it. It was Bill Clinton who signed NAFTA against the wishes of the Democrat Party. Clintonomics seems to have gone by the wayside for these democrats; including his wife.Democrat candidates made no mention of global competition, China or productivity. They did breeze past technology though. These Dem's keep talking about how bad the economy is yet their only solution is a "new WPA, a Works Green Administration." It was laughable to listen to this nonsense. On a side note, for those of you who think FDR's economic policies were swell, keep in mind that unemployment was greater in 1940 then it was in 1933.Democrats do have solutions for social security, however. All of them have no problem with raising taxes on wage ...

As Democrats Push Socialized Medicine, WalMart Supplies $4 Prescription Drugs
2007-09-27 11:19:00
This obsession with Big Government for the sake of Big Government has gone out of control. Even though liberals know that lowering taxes and limited government have numerous economic benefits, including increased government revenue, Democrats are still locked into the mindset that they need to raise taxes and increase the size of government. It just makes them feel better about themselves. Now, as the Democratic Presidential candidates hash out their destructive socialized medical plans, the private sector is providing prescription drugs for cheaper prices than a Big Mac at McDonalds. WalMart, in fact, has just announced that it will be expanding its $4 prescription generic drugs by 10%. Laughably, WalMart apologized for only being able to provided two prescription birth control drugs and one fertility drug for $9. Wow, they’re really breaking the America people’s banks with those prices. I’m sorry, if someone cannot afford a $9 pill once a month to prevent me from having to ...

Associated Press Almost Gets the Story Right about Bill O'Reilly: A Pleasant Surprise
2007-09-26 21:28:00
A rare instance took place today. The Associated Press got a story right; well, at least partially right. We recently reported how Media Matters, CNN, and MSNBC, intentionally misrepresented a story about Bill O'Reilly. They blatantly called him a racist when in fact he was making statements against racism.Considering that being called a racist is one of the worst names to be labeled, what the MSM did was beyond deplorable. If I were Bill, I would sue CNN, MSNBC, and Media Matters for defamation.Amazingly, the Associated Press reported this story accurately. David Bauder of the Associated Press explained the true context of Bill O'Reilly's statements. But, there was much more needed than simply explaining the context. Here subjectivity was appropriate. The title of the story should have been: "CNN fabricates false claims about Bill O'Reilly." Instead, the title was: "Bill O'Reilly Says he is being Smeared."The reason the title was misleading is because Bauder was writing a ...

Media Matters & CNN Lie, Distort, And Try To 'Imus' Bill O'Reilly
2007-09-26 16:53:00
So yesterday the boys over at Media Matters, and the usually somewhat responsible (with the exception of village idiot Christiane Amanpour) Clinton News Network went out of their way to smear Bill O'Reilly. The evidence is below; the fabrication is so blatant not much more really needs to be said. Decide for yourself.CNN:Here is NPR's Juan William's Response to CNN and Media Matters:Related EditorialsMSM Bias WatchMSM Revels In American FailureLiberal Media Perpetuates Ignorance ...

Stossel On Heathcare . . .
2007-09-26 14:10:00
John Stossel has a knack for breaking down complex issues with logic, wit and common sense. His take on healthcare is no different. He states that Senator Hillary Clinton wants to require everyone to have it, big companies to pay for it and government to buy it for the poor, which he then proclaims is the wrong direction. Here is more of what he asserts brilliantly:America's health-care problem is not that some people lack insurance -- it's that 250 million Americans do have it.You have to understand something right from the start. We Americans got hooked on health insurance because the government did the insurance companies a favor during World War II. Wartime wage controls prohibited cash raises, so employers started giving noncash benefits, like health insurance, to attract workers. The tax code helped this along by treating employer-based health insurance more favorably than coverage you buy yourself. And state governments have made things worse by mandating coverage many peo ...

How the Democrats Lost the 2008 Election in Three Weeks: From Moveon.org, to Liberals Siding with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad over Lee Bollinger
2007-09-25 19:37:00
The Democrats just lost the 2008 election. They will not be able to overcome the Far-Left’s insanity. Stick a fork in them; they are done.If it was not bad enough that Moveon.org attacked 4-star General Petraeus, calling him ‘General Betray Us,’ Moveon.org has continued their disgraceful antics over the last few weeks. Consequently, many Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, were forced to take the indefensible position of siding against those who are trying to secure Iraq.We have heard from an unnamed insider that the Democrats in Congress are furious over the Moveon.org ad. While many Democrats really believe that the War in Iraq is wrong, some of them are actually patriotic Americans who support General Petraeus, Jim Webb comes to mind. But, Moveon.org has taken over the Party, contributing more money than the NRA, and the Democrats are powerless to stop them. Now let us go forward one week. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is invited to speak at Columbia University. Lee Bollinger, b ...

Federal Funding Will Harm Stem Cell Research
2007-09-25 19:17:00
Yesterday, I was chastised by a lib for being a against the the government's funding of stem cell research. Now I'm quite sure his illogical rant was inspired by his Bush Derangement Syndrome. You know he blames Bush for just about everything and especially for those who have died from any form of cancer, Alzheimer's ALS etc. He is convinced that Bush has caused these people to die by rejecting the federal government's funding of embryonic stem cell research. Without even getting into the legitimate moral and ethical debate that has surrounded embryonic stem cell research, this man's proposition that the government's funding of such research would save and improve lives is totally absurd. No doubt there is incredible potential to alleviate diseases and to push unprecedented medical advances via stem cell research. It is thus understandable that so many are so eager to empower the government to fund it. Nevertheless history is is not so kind to government intervention in science an ...

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at Columbia University: Where Liberal Cultural Relativism Meets Objective Intolerance
2007-09-24 21:10:00
While liberals pride themselves for being the champions of tolerance, how do they respond when other cultures denigrate women and homosexuals? It is wonderful to watch this cognitive dissonance unfold. At what point do liberals start making objective determinations of right and wrong? At what point do liberals say that burying a 16-year-old girl to her neck in dirt, and subsequently stoning her to death is not an acceptable form of cultural expression?Ironically, liberals consider conservatives evil because many conservatives support the military’s don’t ask, don’t tell policy. Yet, it is amazing that these same liberals are apathetic when Iran hangs, stones, and beheads homosexuals. Moreover, Iran is one of the few Countries in the World that executes children. When confronted with this clear hypocrisy, liberals simply resort to bashing President Bush. If they don’t attack Bush, they attack America for being an evil Country. I am telling you, these people have been total ...

Moveon.org Continues With Its Assault On General Petraeus
2007-09-23 14:57:00
Moveon.org has continued to bring the Democratic Party lower and lower into the abyss. While many Americans disagree with the War in Iraq, none of them want to see an organization that donates more to politicians than the NRA call a General a traitor.Instead of apologizing for calling General Petraeus 'General Betray Us' in a full-page New York Times ad, Movon.org is claiming that the United States' Senate is silencing their speech. No, the United State's Senate condemned Moveon.org's disgraceful comments, but in no way shape or form banned Moveon.org from speaking.Ironically, there is no doubt that FDR would have thrown all the members of Moveon.org in jail and had them tried for treason. He then would have shut down the New York Times. Now Moveon.org is having its lunatic members sign petitions telling their Senators and Representatives that they will continue to trash the General until the Iraq War is over.Well, here is what I did, and I encourage you to do as well: Moveon.o ...

There Is No Logic Behind Democrat Calls For Tax Increases. . . .
2007-09-22 18:05:00
With the Democrat Congress working as hard as they can to punish wage earners and investors with some of the largest tax increases in history, the President rightly proclaimed them to be wrong. While Bush has made numerous missteps throughout his tenure, one area in which his success is undeniable has been on tax policy. The President is right to veto any tax increases that come from this congress.Democrats are always talking about how the capital gains tax is too low and that high earners do not pay enough taxes. Without even getting into how untrue this is (the top 20% pays 80% of all taxes) I must ask why Democrats almost never offer to cut taxes for the people they claim are paying too much? But I digress. The fact is that President Bush's supply side economic policies have created an incentive laden economy that has grown flexible and dynamic. Economic growth and the federal budget have been favorably affected by lower marginal tax rates. Here are some facts: Total government recei ...

HBO: Real Time with Bill Maher, Review of the New Season’s Fifth Episode
2007-09-21 23:11:00
Bill Maher sounded surprisingly kind to the Republican platform today on Real Time. He staunchly supported Israel and said he really did not care about wiretapping. He said he has no expectation of privacy anywhere he goes. He called Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a terrorist, and a sponsor of terror. Then Bill Attacked Sally Fields when she said there would be no wars if mothers ruled the world. But, then again, Bill Maher always seems to seem Right-wing when there are no conservative guests on his show.Tonight, Bill’s panelists included: Janeane Garofalo, Salman Rushdie and Rob Thomas. I am sorry, but if this continues to happen, I may have to stop being an anonymous blogger and school those people in a debate. At least he could have found someone who could make a rational argument.Take Janeane Garofalo for example. The woman clearly is on medication. No sane individual could believe all the things she does, and then think that they are the rational voice of America. Janeane Garofal ...
