Boycott Islam: Dubai moves to buy 20 percent of the Nasdaq
2007-09-22 09:49:25
Via Jerome Corsi at WorldNetDaily comes a story that should have you clicking on my Boycott Islam campaign section immediately, watching your stock portfolio even more carefully, and once again proves that I am ahead of the curve (thanks to all that sent this important story in): In a complex set of transactions, Dubai is moving to acquire 19.9 percent of the Nasdaq in New York, placing the Arab government in an ownership position of the key U.S. stock exchange and raising concerns in Congress. As a result of the transaction, Dubai also will acquire 28 percent of the London Stock Exchange, one of the oldest and largest in the world. The transaction is being made through Borse Dubai, a holding company 100-percent owned by the government of the Emirate of Dubai and controlled by Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the head of the Dubai ruling family. According to its website, Borse Dubai was created Aug. 6 as the holding company for Dubai Financial Market and Dubai International Financial Ex ...

GM’s Corner Hacked by ‘Pork Lover’
2007-09-21 09:44:42
Always on Watch alerted me to GM Roper’s blog being hacked by yet another disgruntled member of the ‘Religion of Peace’, just a day ago. Part of a statement to the hacker from GM’s Corner: There is nothing more juvenile, childish and more stupid than a moron who hacks a blogsite just to prove he can. A little while ago that was me, hacked by one Abu Jneya which I have on good authority translates into “Pork Lover,” well, maybe that is not an exact translation. I happen to love pork roast, pork chops, hot dogs, ribs et al. I won’t give them up without a fight, so it’s just one more reason to defy Islam to the death. I don’t know, I sometimes might feel that the typical Muslim is more juvenile and childish than your average malevolent hacker, but I’m not supposed to say such things. Well, I’m sorry, but it seems that my attempts at being “nice” about everything aren’t stopping my own site(s) from be ...
Foehammer ‘Gathering Storm’ interview tomorrow, Sept 21
2007-09-20 14:14:17
I will return for another interview on Friday, September 21st over at The Gathering Storm. The Blogradio segment will run for approximately one hour. This will be my third BlogRadio interview. Bookmark the show and try to tune in for a listen, perhaps even call into the show. Archives of past shows are also on hand. If you can’t make this one live, just find the recording. My fine hosts will be W.C. and Always On Watch. Show begins at 3 PM EST/2PM CST/1PM Mountain/Noon PST. I’m in a rather grumpy mood of late, so don’t be surprised if I say some things that will shake glass, frighten Islamist children and make marshmallows out of already soft-bellied, dhimmified appeasers. You have been warned. If you wish to hear my previous interviews, check in my Podcasts. Bush not willing to order preemptive strike on Iran?
2007-09-20 11:19:12
While President Ahmanutjob of Iran gets U.S. Secret Service protection in NYC today and visits Ground Zero (despite NYC official protests) and speaks at Columbia University by invitation (there go our Leftofascist, dhimmi professors again), word slides down the hill that President George W. Bush doesn’t have the will to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities without apparently grandiose provocation. This country needs an enema. From the Drudge Report comes a report that reads much like fantasy to me, but there might be some modicum of truth inside. You decide: Clemons, director of the American Strategy Program at New America Foundation and publisher of The Washington Note, says Bush has deviated from a Cheney-laid track to launch a first-strike on Iran, citing, as examples, frustrations that the vice president’s aides are airing, a conversation with a journalist who sat in on a December 2006 strategy meeting, and private conversations with high-level foreign policy players. &l ...
Distractions
2007-09-19 10:31:33
I’m being pressed, pestered and bothered; a long few weeks of dealing with the results of censors and attempts to destroy the traffic flow to the Anvil. And still I am winning. However, I am definitely being distracted by this useless waste of my energies. It doesn’t look like such attempts are going to end anytime soon either. Today I noticed that my most harmless web presence of all, my music profile on MySpace, has been mysteriously deleted without warning. I just sent an inquiry to MySpace. This obviously brings up the old Roman paranoia that resides in my blood. I immediately start sorting enemies and deciding who might be behind this latest assault upon my rights, especially since that particular webpage was simply a way for me to share music with people. Could it be that some persons don’t perhaps believe that I composed that music? That would be a hoot. Could it be that someone accused it of being a ‘hate site’? That would be an even bigg ...
Old Empires Flexing Muscles: China, Russia spying on U.S.
2007-09-18 09:41:26
Filed under the “Trust no one” category and going right along with some of my thoughts from earlier this year and weapons caches found in the hands of our enemies, from the Pamela Hess via the AP: China and Russia are spying on the United States nearly as much as they did during the Cold War, according to the top U.S. intelligence official. Mike McConnell, the director of national intelligence, says in testimony prepared for a Tuesday congressional hearing that a law passed last month expanding the U.S. government’s eavesdropping power is needed to protect not just against terrorists but also against more traditional potential adversaries, such as those two Cold War foes. “China and Russia’s foreign intelligence services are among the most aggressive in collecting against sensitive and protected U.S. systems, facilities and development projects, and their efforts are approaching Cold War levels,” McConnell says in his testimony. “Foreign intell ...
Could Saudi Women Lobbying for Right to Drive Open Door to Islamic Reform?
2007-09-18 08:17:08
This is a story worth keeping an eye on. From the AP: For the first time ever, a group of women in the only country that bans female drivers have formed a committee to lobby for the right to get behind the wheel, and they plan to petition King Abdullah in the next few days for the privilege. The government is unlikely to respond because the issue remains so highly sensitive and divisive. But committee members say their petition will at least highlight what many Saudis — both men and women — consider a “stolen” right. “We would like to remind officials that this is, as many have said, a social and not a religious or political issue,” said Fowziyyah al-Oyouni, a founding member of the Committee of Demanders of Women’s Right to Drive Cars. “And since it’s a social issue, we have the right to lobby for it.” Committee members want to deliver their petition to the king by Sunday, Saudi Arabia’s national day. The driving ban applies t ...
Al-Sadr Never Misses an Opportunity to Cause USA Trouble
2007-09-18 08:05:47
Muqtada al-Sadr capitalized on Iraqi tension yesterday after the Blackwater Company, a mercenary outfit hired to protect dignitaries in Iraq, came under fire from the Iraq government after the death of 8 Iraqi civilians. When are we going to actually start behaving like a force that believes in its own values and deal with slugs like al-Sadr properly? By properly I don’t mean appeasing his followers and letting al-Sadr run around free to aid Iran in the killing of American and Coalition soldiers; I mean shooting him. The Iraqi government said Tuesday it would review the status of private security companies as anger over the alleged involvement of Blackwater USA in a fatal shooting of civilians threatened to spread to other firms providing protection for dignitaries and Westerners on Iraq’s chaotic streets. Radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr called for all contracts of foreign securities firms to be annulled and blamed the government for failing to protect Iraqis, n ...
Anvil Server Migration Underway
2007-09-17 12:42:17
I am currently working on putting together the last stages of a migration of databases for the Anvil and other sites in this network over to the more powerful Virtual Private Server. Since this takes priority for a few days until everything actual makes the switch, I will most likely be posting articles infrequently until its completion. Please bear with me while this completes. More info available here. Thank you. UPDATE Sept. 18th: I am still working with LunarPages technicians to resolve some issues before the new Anvil server becomes active, but it is getting closer and closer to resolution. Open Thread: Sept 16th
2007-09-16 09:56:42
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend (or did enjoy their weekend for those down in Australia). I may update with a link to a new podcast later today, but then again I might not; I guess it’s going to be a wait and see sort of Sunday. The Anvil is still undergoing a server migration slowly but surely to a vastly superior environment, and I will advise you all when it is completed, but have no doubt that the upgrade is indeed underway. SonicWALL has not budged on the ‘hate’ rating of my mirror site. It strikes me as evidence that their system isn’t properly moderated since the information there is exactly the same has here, and in fact, there is less of it because I only started mirroring articles a month ago. Hrmph. If you would like to put in a request to SonicWALL to correct their mistake on this or any other site you deem it necessary, learn more here. I almost forgot: I will be returning for another interview on the Gathering Storm Report this F ...
Cop Killer LaBeet Related To Muslim-American Mass Killer
2007-09-15 10:56:12
Lady Predator brought this to my attention and then I started digging. As I sensed, there is much more to the LaBeet story then what first appears and wouldn’t you know it — there does seem to be an Islamic connection. Here we are smack-dab in the Islamic month of Ramadan (began September 13th) and one Muslim is caught with an AK-47 in a Michigan park just days ago before he can do any harm, then not long after, Shawn LaBeet kills (supposedly with an AK-47) 1 police officer and wounds 3 others in Miami and seemed prepared to do it by accounts of his body armor and beard. And now there is this connection between Shawn LaBeet and a blood-related mass killer who hijacked a plane to Cuba and has been on the the FBI wanted list ever since: Ishmael Ali LaBeet. Ishmael Ali. Bingo. An infamous killer who was convicted of slaughtering eight people in the US Virgin Islands 35 years ago, before escaping prison by hijacking a plane to Cuba, is the half brother of the man caught ...
Al-Qaida: Bounty on Swedish cartoonist
2007-09-15 04:41:13
Chalk this in the ‘here we go again’ department. From the AP: The leader of al-Qaida in Iraq offered money for the murder of a Swedish cartoonist who recently produced images deemed insulting to Islam, according to a statement carried by Islamist Web sites Saturday. In the half hour audio file entitled “They plotted yet God too was plotting,” Abu Omar al-Baghdadi also promised a new offensive in Iraq during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. On Aug. 19, the Swedish newspaper Nerikes Allehanda published a cartoon by Lars Vilks that depicted the Prophet Muhammad with a dog’s body. Muslims in Sweden rallied outside the newspaper’s offices to demand an apology, and the governments of Iran and Pakistan lodged formal protests with Sweden, but other than that the reaction to the cartoon was muted. That response is in contrast to last year’s fiery protests that erupted in several Muslim countries after a Danish newspaper published 12 cartoons of Muham ...
U.S.: Syria on nuclear watch list
2007-09-14 12:27:53
Now, who is feeling stupid for continuing to not do as I have advised for at least three years? Attack Iran’s nuclear facilities now, and then quickly focus our energies onto Syria until they relinquish out of raw terror of presented U.S. might and cough up whatever new toys they might have. As for North Korea, now I am seeing why they are misleading us with still more lies — they have been proliferating nuclear technology to our worst enemies with hopes at getting more extortion money and then will simply return straight to form once the shooting wars with Islamists begin in earnest. This is a mess. There have been many warning signs. From the AP: ROME - A senior U.S. nuclear official said Friday that North Koreans were in Syria and that the government in Damascus may have had contacts with “secret suppliers” to obtain nuclear equipment. Andrew Semmel, acting deputy assistant secretary of state for nuclear nonproliferation policy, did not name the suppliers ...
Europe and the West in Denial
2007-09-14 10:54:55
Today I present an article from author Melanie Phillips which was recently published by National Review (hat-tip: Gramfan). This is important reading, so I am cross-posting it in full. I encourage you to read it all, especially if you live in Europe or have any compassion for the plight of Europeans at all. In my view the very same things discussed by Phillips apply to Australia and the United States and Canada, too, but just to a lesser extent because of our relative isolation from the immediate threat from Islamism for now. I have taken the liberty of adding emphasis to items that I believe to be of particular importance. When I published my book Londonistan last year, I believed Britain was deeply in denial over the threat of radical Islamism. Today — six years after 9/11; two years after the 7/7 London suicide bombings; one year after the discovery of the al Qaeda transatlantic-airline plot; two months after the car-bomb attacks on a London nightclub and Glasgow airport & ...
