Ladner: What it really means to be Islamophobic 2007-11-01 11:19:47 It is so refreshing to come across an op-ed piece from a college writer that actually aligns with my own way of thinking. This morning I am cross-posting such an editorial from over at Tufts Daily by an International Relations major named Matthew Ladner (links and emphasis added). Mr. Ladner takes to task the notion that Islamophobia is a fairly diagnosed condition and proves in just enough words that we all have a right to hold Islam suspect if we feel justly threatened by Sharia Law and the like. Mr. Ladner also stands up to a Professor Leupp’s politically correct characterizations, assumptions and accusations. Many more students should look to this sort of example and follow suit.
