Victoria Beckham is already making enemies in LA. It seems that Posh likes to dine at the Chateau Marmont, a trendy and expensive hotel in LA that is known for keeping its patrons privacy a top priority. It seems that Posh calls ahead to warn the hotel that she will be arriving, with dozens of paparazzi on her heels:"She always lets the paparazzi know when she'll be arriving. The Chateau Marmont tries to give celebs their privacy, and they hate her there. They like David [Beckham, her husband], though."And last Tuesday another paparazzi fave arrived to find the restaurant packed and the only available seat was next to Posh. Guess who? Britney Spears. She refused to sit next to Posh and promptly stormed off to another eatery:"Britney Spears turned up at the Chateau and the only table available was the one next to Posh. But Britney didn't want to sit next to her, so she and her friend stormed off to Il Sole instead."Are you kidding me? Britney needs all the friends she can get and imag ...

Tonight's Something Before Bed is all about the images. There are times where this segment posts two or three videos in one post but tonight we are changing the format.Enough said.It makes you wonder how many responses he got. Love the idea though. Wonder if the newspaper ever caught on.Here is a great site that has aggregated interesting advertising ideas that literally enter your world. I'll admit that a few of them are a little too intrusive but the idea behind them is brilliant. And my favorite idea of the day:I deserve an entire batch of cupcakes.Motiveless Crime is on the rise. ...

The Sunni Accordance Front, which is responsible for representing the Sunni minority in Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's government, quit the Iraqi cabinet today. Five cabinet members and their Deputy Prime Minister walked away from the Iraq ruling body, plunging the country into chaos. So far over 70 people have been killed by suicide bombers across Baghdad today. This move is seen as a boycott but President Maliki has assured U.S. President George W. Bush that discussions between the two sides will continue despite the mass resignation. The Sunni Accordance Front has cited security differences as the reason for leaving, saying that Maliki's government has refused to grant them more power to protect their population.Of the seventy killed today, 50 died as a result of a suicide bomber who packed a fuel truck with explosives and detonated himself inside the truck at a petrol station. 60 other civilians were injured in the blast which tore its way through the Mansour district of Baghdad ...

I hate that this is wishful thinking. Taken in Milan. (via Mixed Media Expressions)"Fascists Racists Haters of Refugees FOLLOW YOUR LEADER" Taken during G8 Protests, somewhere. (via The Safe Light Kid)I don't necessarily believe this. I would prefer to not go into detail about my believes concerning this horrid attack mainly because of it being such a hot button issue. The reason I chose to post this image is because it is actually painted on a wall at Ground Zero in NYC. (via Terry Foote)Motiveless Crime is on the rise. ...

A series of videos have hit YouTube concerning FOX News and its inability to withdraw bias on a number of topics. So far I've posted a few of these but this one really incenses me:And here I thought bloggers were the honest version of news outlets like FOX. Instead of trying to act neutral about things, we come out and blatantly state our opinions. Yet somehow FOX News gets away with hiding their ulterior motives by attacking the little guy. Maybe they are just pissed that we are taking away from their ratings. Serves you right...bastards.This great website came across my desk at some point. If you type in a web address and choose a weapon you can attack any site you want, albeit superficially. Don't expect a site to crash if you send a graphic nuclear weapon onto its front page. I learned that the hard way.I am so screwed.Has anyone noticed how George W. Bush likes to rub bald people's heads? I've seen picture after picture of him getting the utmost joy out of this...luckily someo ...

After 38-years the British Army is leaving Northern Ireland after having supported the police in their longest military operation ever. Flash back to nearly forty years ago and Northern Ireland was riddled with fierce clashes between Republican gunmen and British forces. British troops were initially sent to Northern Ireland in 1969 to help stop rebellions that were a response to civil rights infractions caused by Catholic and Protestant differences in opinion concerning Britain's role in the area. The period of time that resulted in the death of 3,600 people's deaths has been known as "The Troubles". At least Britain knows how to pull out of situation eventually. Does that mean we have over 30 years left in Iraq?Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas has been visiting with Russian officials which has caused a major change in Russian connection to the Islamic group known as Hamas. Last month Hamas took over Palestianian territories such as the Gaza Strip in an effort to over throw the gove ...

This is one of the biggest let-downs I've ever had. Brace yourselves, all hope is lost...the rumor that Paris Hilton had been cut out of her grandfather's will was fake. Try to hold back the tears. It sounds like Paris is still set to inherit around $30 million. The Queen B (for bitch) still has something to envy. Bitch.Paris has also sold her Hollywood Hills home for a cool $4.25 million, an overly inflated price considering she bought it for a mere $2.9 million three years back. This is common knowledge, so the buyer must be an idiot...or a Paris Hilton fan...wait, same thing. One good news article about Paris Hilton: The Simple Life, that stupid fake-reality series that she and Nicole Richie starred in, has been canceled. It is now safe to watch the E! channel, if you like that sort of thing. Two very disturbing Britney Spears fashion mistakes today:Notice how the breasts are trying to escape. Tonight's Something Before Bed is all about the videos. The first of which I've avoided adding because it is way too popular, but having watched it multiple times, I couldn't resist:Then, of course, I have to make a plug for one of my favorite bands:And yes, those are real porn stars. Rilo Kiley is an awesome band, if you haven't heard.I had to add some humor somewhere. To wrap things up we have the latest Ron Paul fluff video to hit YouTube. This one has an insipid opening number. Of course the rest of the video focuses on Ron Paul's politics told through the lens of his visit to Google's campus. If this isn't a sign that he has sold out to one of the world's most dangerous companies, nothing is.Motiveless Crime is on the rise. ...

The Iraqi parliament went into summer recess today after having stalled on discussions regarding a set of laws that the US has been pushing. Washington believes that the set of laws before the Iraqi branch of government, if passed, would establish stability in the country and lessen the need for foreign occupation. "We do not have anything to discuss in the parliament, no laws or constitutional amendments, nothing from the government. Differences between the political factions have delayed the laws," Kurdish lawmaker Mahmoud Othman told Reuters. The Iraqi parliament is playing ignorant to the laws, which makes me wonder if the entire situation is being manipulated by different factions. US constituents could have made up the situation to give citizens at home a belief that change is forthcoming, Iraqi's may be playing coy to buy time for better options. Either way, nothing is changing.Rebuilding Iraq has come to a halt since American factions began bombing the area years ago. The US a ...

Joshua Jackson, the kid that played the wise-cracking Pacey Witter on Dawson's Creek, was arrested in 2002 for assaulting a security guard at a hockey game in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jackson was taken into custody, booked and tested for his blood alcohol level which was at .14 (NC legal limit is .08). After posting $1,000 in bail, he was released. Later he was sentenced to attend an alcohol education program plus $150 in fees and had to complete 24 hours of community service. If I remember correctly, somewhere around 2002, Jackson's character on Dawson's Creek developed a drinking problem and crashed his car into Dawson's mom's house. Perhaps he was just studying for the role? What happened to his career anyway? (via The Smoking Gun)Motiveless Crime is on the rise. ...

Paris Hilton is no longer an heir to the Hilton fortune. Jerry Oppenheimer, who wrote "House of Hilton" claims that Conrad Hilton, Paris' grandfather, has become so unhappy with Paris' rep that he cut her out of his will. Conrad doesn't appreciate how his granddaughter has dragged the Hilton name through the mud. Word has it that he has cut almost the entire family out of his will so that he can donate his billions to charity. How much did Paris lose out on when the old man croaks? $60 million. I'm somewhat excited by this news because it could signal the end of Paris Hilton's celebrity status. Wasn't the only reason she was famous because of her heir-apparent status? It isn't like she can act, sing or even model (not that she hasn't tried all three). I guess now we can stop acting interested and just ignore the talentless hack.Taye Diggs, one of the world's luckiest men, is stepping out on his wife, Idina Menzel. I'm sure all of my readers can agree that it has been a rather long weekend. After taking a look at hundreds of news articles today it became apparent that things are only going to continue to get worse. Therefore, here is a bit of sugar and spice to sleep to.The Primaries for the 2008 Presidential Election are still in full-swing. I took a political placement test that places your beliefs on a quadrant that rates you not only from right to left but also Authoritarian to Libertarian. Apparently I rank somewhere between Mahatma Gandhi and the Dalai Lama. This is how the major candidates map out:Isn't it a bit frightening that 90% are right-wing Authoritarians? This FOX News investigation is circulating the internet at a fast clip:Kind of shocking, isn't it? The United States will be announcing major arms deals later this week that center around creating ties in the Middle East in order to combat Iran's growing influence in the area.
